Exactly 0 Dynamis shells on Ramuh use DC, it drives me fuckin batty. My ls has been bumped from our intended zone 3 straight tries. There has been a huge surge in the number of Dynamis shells on our server recently, there went from being 2-3 on Thursdays/Sundays to 7-8 in less than a month, and all decided to run 30-60 minutes before we do(we go as early as our members' schedules permit). We were locked out of every zone but Bastok the other night, which was of course the only zone that we had 0 members needing clearance in. We ended up having to wait 3 hours to do Beaucedine.

Also, zone-jacking by entering with 2 people and northlands spamming runs rampant on Ramuh, you're lucky to even have a shot at getting into Xarca or Glacier most nights.

Yep not too many ls's use it on Midgard either. We need the fragment for our horn and we are done but getting in is another story. >< We have to go in unusually early most of the time and then 1/2 of the ls can't make it. Trying to get anything done is absolutely asinine.

And how many of you cringe when you see someone shouting in Jeuno or Whitegate about forming yet ANOTHER Dynamis ls??

A minor peeve:

Watdafuxup with WHMs that don't use Regen 2 and 3?! This feels like 80% of all WHMs I meet! Do they not understand the recuperative and MP efficient power these spells carry?

I mean, come on, I'd KILL for those two spells. Not everything needs a Cure V or Curaga, people. Give your Regens a workout.

You know I get yelled for using mine too much sometimes. LOL I absolutely LOVE regen and when other whms say that capping enhancing is hard I just laugh and say "Not if you use regen." "Oh I do!", is the usual response. "Well apparently not enough!"

Well I had capped Enhancing Magic on RDM long before I got that high, but yes, I use Regen so much my Healing Magic skill is lacking now. :/

I love Regen so much I merited it. Those extra few HP/tick come in handy even when I'm meriting on RDM.

Hmm.... I didn't think that WHM-specific merits carried over when on a job other than WHM...

* Warrior who switched from Sturmwind to Iron Tempest and back to Sturmwind--after being asked to use Shield Break to help out everyone on those evasive beetles (no Dispel in party).
* Watching the uncooperative WAR doing the best damage in party anyway, even as he switched to one-handed axe (presumably to skill up).
* The party agree to switch camp from Eastern Altep Desert to Garliage Citidel after the highest one hit level 33. However, the WAR drops out with "Thanks for party. Bye." right after ding. No warning beforehand he didn't want to keep leveling. /sigh

On the bright side

On the bright side, the PUP the leader picked up was just as good of a DD, and he cooperated with the BLU to make Fusion. (Yes, this was an SC+MB party. No, I don't smoke.)

Damage wise, it was PUP/THF > BLU/NIN > Automaton (RNG) > PLD/WAR > NIN/THF > BLM/WHM (lowest in level) > SCH/WHM (me). SC + MB party, with NIN+PLD on Distortion, and BLU+PUP on Fusion, and BLU, BLM, and SCH all MB'ing when possible. Fun. ^_^

(If you read carefully, you'd see that not only was the PUP top DD by himself, but his Automaton did very nicely as well, out damaging all but the BLU--together, the PUP and his Automaton did about 41% of the total damage.)

Hate to break it to you aka, but unless you make a party with friends, you won't get invited as red mage to DD. =/

RDM's are going to be used for refresh and curing. No more, no less.

Partying as whm with bad rdms:

1. My wanting you to have echo drops for fighting imps does not make me a lazy noob who is inconsiderate of other peoples finances. No.....one echo drop is not enough ><
2. Refresh. There is a whm and a pld in this party, refresh and dispel are pretty much why you are here, I shouldn't have to badger you to do it.
3. Dispel. Blaze spikes aren't going to kill anyone but it's cheaper for you to fix it than it is for me to, again I shouldn't have to badger you to do it.
4. If you cast regen 1 over my regen 3 on the tank one more time.... ( I still haven't worked out the logic behind this one)
5. If you cast cure 3 over my regen 2 on that dd one more time....
5. Level whm past 14 if you want rdm 60+, please?
6. You have 600mp+, I have 44mp and just had to get up from resting to use benediction, CURE!
7. Yes I do mind if you spam dark magic because you want to skill up. We are here to exp not to help you skill up and leech. Not anti rdms using bio if they want to but I don't want to see bio every other cast.


We had 4 rdms tonight. The first three were all a bit hit and miss (one of them was terrible) but the last one I nearly hugged he was such a huge difference.

He kept an eye on who I regened. Poisonad one of the DDs after Poisonga 2 when he could see Divine Seal wasn't up. Used the last of his spare mp before convert for a Curaga 2 between fights that got everyone to max HP and let me keep resting. Refreshed and dispelled appropriately and without having to be asked. It was great.

Tell any RDM who want to spam Bio for skillup to do it for 10 minutes in a Besieged. We lost the AC on Midgard the other day, and at a level 1 as RDM39 I managed to go from 85 to 95 in the space of 15-20 minutes. Just imagine how much Convert and Refresh would help this...

With so many pages in this thread I'm not going to go through every one to see if this has been mentioned before.

My biggest pet peeve in the game is the damn teleporter to get to Kirin's room. It is the absolute stupidest thing implemented in the game. What purpose is there to making it a random teleport to one of two rooms? I hate it, hate it, hate it!!!!

Actually I don't think that has been mentioned. True that, though, it's annoying as sin.
