Vista sucks to play FFXI on ~.~ Espically with this damn cursed laptop by HP. Though I haven't had crashes like Aks on it, its just laggy compared to my out of date, XP machine, AMD 1.8ghz 1gig ram and no longer supported nVidia card <.< >.>; Vista < 2K > XP

/sigh, I miss days of 2k being the in OS! T_T

Oh and I really 'love' trying to cap off subs when pties in general suck worse now than in general ~.~ 3 levels til stun on drk /wrist!

Actually, he had full MP, not "almost full". That's 95/95. (Not exaggerating when I wrote he didn't cure even once.)

HP wise, he was in white, missing no more than 5%. I cured him after his one Provoke when he dropped to yellow, and dropped him a Regen. Yes, totally stupid move; should have let him die then dance over his broken body.

I'm pretty new, but even I know that there are "roles" that each Job is particularly suited for - if you don't want to Tank, pick a different JOB! Why would you even Lvl PLD at all if you're not going to Tank? If you want to be a DD, then pick the appropriate job (and equipment) and you'll be fine at it. It's like a BLM who wants to play Tank and then gets pouty when they get one-shoted by the NM - DUH! - and in low level EXP prt's, you die, you fly, no RR, so SOL buddy, see ya back at Windy.....

Vista is really not at fault there..... its the stupid companies trying to make Vista run on Laptops with 1gb ram and a 1.8mhz processor -.-

I see it all the time with the Dell laptops I work on, its horrible, if you have a "beefy" system (and thats what Vista was designed for) it runs great.


Download yourself a copy of TIny XP (cant tell ya where to get it because people will freak) and install it, just make sure you can find XP drivers for your laptop hardware first, and it will run alot better

You completely misread my post ~.~
The specs are for my DESKTOP with XP
And I've already tried putting XP on the laptop. HP made it so any windows less than Vista can't detect the HDD on setup, even with the current RAID/SCSI drivers on the usb floppy drive trick.

Dynamis LSes who don't go on Dynamis Calendar to see which zones are available before they go in. We're supposed to do Windurst in about an hour, but another LS is going in and we're going to have to figure out another zone to play in. >.<

This has happened before. It's very simple. Register on Dynamis Calendar and put your runs down, or at least see what other LSes are doing, before you just go in.

Exactly 0 Dynamis shells on Ramuh use DC, it drives me fuckin batty. My ls has been bumped from our intended zone 3 straight tries. There has been a huge surge in the number of Dynamis shells on our server recently, there went from being 2-3 on Thursdays/Sundays to 7-8 in less than a month, and all decided to run 30-60 minutes before we do(we go as early as our members' schedules permit). We were locked out of every zone but Bastok the other night, which was of course the only zone that we had 0 members needing clearance in. We ended up having to wait 3 hours to do Beaucedine.

Also, zone-jacking by entering with 2 people and northlands spamming runs rampant on Ramuh, you're lucky to even have a shot at getting into Xarca or Glacier most nights.

One of the leaders of a Dynamis shell on Valefor made a huge post about using DC. Then he proceeded to 1) not use it and 2) ignore our public schedule and ended up pushing us out of a zone.

Watdafuxup with WHMs that don't use Regen 2 and 3?! This feels like 80% of all WHMs I meet! Do they not understand the recuperative and MP efficient power these spells carry?

I mean, come on, I'd KILL for those two spells. Not everything needs a Cure V or Curaga, people. Give your Regens a workout.
