One of the most common pet peeves among the player base: people who tell them how to play their job. Yes, I'm sure asking the RDM to refresh you more often would have gone over really well.
There are some things that you just shouldn't have to ask of people. You shouldn't have to ask a tank to Provoke. You shouldn't have to ask DDs to auto-attack. You shouldn't have to ask a RDM to refresh the main healer.
there is a big difference in asking nicely and telling someone what to do

Past 45, you should never have to ask a RDM to refresh. This isn't a case of requesting the healer not to fully heal someone to activate a latent, this is someone not doing their job at all.
Would you ask a NIN tank to use Utsusemi or a DD to use their weapon or would you just expect them to know that's what they're there for?
It sucks when they tell me to refresh them when their refresh has only been down for four seconds... I see mine go down, I cast on me... While waiting for recast to hit the PLD/healer... WHM: (refresh) Even if they are just reminding me, it gets annoying.

The difference is that "asking nicely" is a passive aggressive way of doing the same thing.
If I was riding as a passenger in a car, I could ask the driver very nicely, "Could you please drive within the speed limit?" or "Could you please not tail gate?" End result: I'm still trying to tell the person how to drive.

Drks have Dread Spikes
Drgs can Super Jump
Wars are generally /nin
Sams can usually tank a bit with Seigan
Thfs can hide, or will not get the hate in the first place

Getting shouts against the concept of my new ls >_>
Mostly how rdms are slow with sky nms >_>;
I will prove an army of Rdms can survive many of the nms to kill in sky better than any ls~!
<_< TheRedMages will become the biggest name in seraph, mark mah words!
I will do that Akashi -- tell me though, will you be doing something Taskmage-ish and promise to eat something if it doesn't happen for some reason? Maybe a Red Mage hat, complete with pimp feather.
On to my new peeve: getting an invite on PUP when I'm not even seeking. But not that, oh no. It's that I was too tired from the two previous parties (both of which conform to a good portion of this thread, at least to some part) to be able to accept the party.
I mean, seriously, on a job where I get maybe 1 invite a week...
And I was hoping to hit 66 and use my Stun Jemhadars finally... but alas, it's not meant to be. Not this week anyway.
