I just pointed out a handful of types of real animal that have neither penises nor vaginas and still have gender. Are you saying those are all asexual now?

One thing you gotta love about this forum, the regulars here will argue for hours about ANYTHING, no matter how frivolous.

This is what a male is defined as in my dictionary: A person bearing an X and Y chromosome pair in the cell nuclei and normally having a penis, scrotum, and testicles, and developing hair on the face at adolescence; a boy or man.

So...if Galka did not have a penis, how are they male in game? Why wouldn't SE let us marry both men and women, or wear female gear? As a matter of fact, why do the NPCs refer to me as a "he" instead of "it"?

      FFS! Plants and Fish and Birds are not mammals! They have no need for a penis ; ;

Your definition excludes non-mammals and thus is too specific.

P.S. There's no proof that Galka are considered mammals any more than there's proof they have penises. A very important characteristic of mammals is that they feed off of their mother's milk when born. Galka clearly don't breast-feed.

I guess my point is that you may or may not be right about them having a penis, but you're making certain assumptions that can't be made in order to prove that they do.

Hehe, hey it takes two to tango buddy. We wouldn't still be here arguing if you'd just accept you don't have a penis. I hope you're at least having fun with the conversation because I certainly am. Huh. Is this what it's like to be Feba?

The 4th definition of male in your dictionary is this: pertaining to or characteristic of a male person; masculine: a male voice. So maybe galka are considered male by vitue of their race having characteristics that other races identify with males, such as facial hair and deep voices.

For pete's sake, I say again, this is a fantasy game! Clearly, arguing with me about why Galka doesn't fit into the specifics of a mammal based off real life standards is ridiculous.

So you're telling me that Elvaans and Mithra and Tarutaru aren't mammals as well? I honestly don't understand why you guys are so interested what my character has between his legs in the first place.

By that logic, your arguement that galkas have penises because some classes of real life creature have them is just as ridiculous.

Elvaan females and Mithra females clearly have breasts to feed their babies with. It's also somewhat clear that they reproduce through normal coitus. Fits the bill for a mammal. Galka can't breast-feed so their status as mammals is dubious.

No, not exactly. While this may be a fantasy game, there are still real life elements in it. It's just ridiculous to regulate everything in the game with the same limitations we have in life.

Is it that hard to believe in a fantasy game that a certain group of men with a penis can reincarnate themselves? ><

Just because Galkas don't fit one little part of what makes up the big family of mammals doesn't mean they are not. There are exceptions to everything...even in nature.

The point isn't whether or not it's credible. It's that you can't make the assumption that because they're considered male, they have a penis. It's been said over and over again, that having a penis is not a requirement for a living being to be considered male; only mammals. And has been pointed out, it can't be proven that Galka are mammals.

You're basically jumping straight to the assumption that they do have penises and using that assumption in your proof.

I want to see the Mithra Homeland, male mithra seem to have it made down there. Whatever their gig is, I want it.

I find it hard to believe that an animal that doesn't reproduce by sexual coupling would have organs that serve no other purpose than for sexual coupling.

If they had penises, why would they need to reincarnate? They could simply reproduce to perpetuate the species.

Which puts me in mind of another concept: not only are the Galka dickless, they are also an evolutionary dead end.

Their gene pool stagnates, no new DNA is ever introduced, what with Galkas simply reincarnating to a new--but physiologically identical--form as before.

Oh, glorious Altana, why did you curse the poor Galka to a dickless, sexless, genderless, hairy fate? WHY?!

How can you make the assumption that Galka don't penises? What makes your statement anymore valid than mine? Galkas are mammals; they reincarnate and therefore have no need for breast feeding, besides this one tiny thing, what else makes them not mammals?

The only person in the entire world who knows, for sure, wheter or not Galka have a penis or not is the team who thought of the race in the first place. What is the point of this argument? Where is it going?

Penis is also used for urination.

Avoiding an indepth argument on genes, GALKA ARE NOT GENDERLESS. It says Galka Male for the umpteenth time. If they did not have a gender, why with the male only restrictions?

                              lmao

No, see because the galka have a shared racial memory they have the potential for memetic evolution beyond the capabilities of other races, who depend on their cultures to pass on their life lessons after they pass away bodily.

You know, I completely forgot about that bit. It certainly would bypass conventional evolution, but then what about the biological? Why they may benefit from racial memory, reincarnation doesn't seem to afford them the ability to adapt physically to any environmental changes.

I think I may have gotten too deep with this.
