I don't have any end-game gear RDM, and I know I'm one of the better RDMs in almost any linkshell I go to, and it's because of my spell timing and superior macro usage. But RDM is a different kind of job. Maybe that SAM did have a point, but he was taking it too far..

It's because they've become OMFGLEETPULLERZ. We've got a BRD in our social, and she hates it so much because of all the pressure merit parties put on her, she won't level without the folks in the LS. I completely understand where she's coming from, too. I hate being a RDM/WHM in meripo as much as she hates being a BRD. We don't get chain 7058, but we have a lot more fun getting xp/merits in the long run, and the people in my LS are (thankfully) understanding of that and we all take what we can get.

I've never seen higher than chain 7. And I couldn't care less.

then again, she wasnt too bright to begin with anyways.

dont knock the high chain pts :p i didnt care much for them either until i had a crazy 2 brd 2 mnk pt. i can understand why people get spoiled though. when you get 5 merits in less than 2 hours... its like a high almost.

I've never really pulled into the triple digits, nor to I care or see the point in doing so. I'll grant you my jobs aren't exactly hard-up for EXP cap and its not hard for me to get merits, but still.

I'm sure I could do it given the right conditions, but i'm content with chain #30, really. If that's not good enough for people, they can just kiss my ass. Not like I alone control that chain anyway, I can pull like a demon, but people still gotta kill it before I pull more.

Too late on the princess bard bit. And its a she. Its obvious she just wants to melee. She always does. Oi, i never had such a headache about dynamis i can't go to due to not having access. Yeah >_>;

And from what ls said after the run, they really could have used additional paralyna, erase and blindna that a /whm could provide. Being a run of 18 people clearing almost all of the nm demons.

Their reasoning was stupid. Even if the WHM get's paralyzed, after enough spamming, it'll clear off yourself, and you can proceed to cast it on the rest of the team.

God damnit, using one's limited MP pool is a sad excuse, especially when you'll have Ballad on for half of the time.

Peeve: People who assume I have to find a replacement for their convenience. If I gotta go, I gotta go. I could have an LS event, emergency call saying my kid is in the hospital, whatever. I can't/won't stick around just because there are not potential replacements seeking.

If I take the time to find a replacement, it's a bloody courtesy. If I don't it means that it's on you, that I had other shit to do, regardless of whether or not that means dick to you.
