My pet peeve is people who do not stop talking during pt.

I also hate the obligatory insecure comment every mid-level player has to not-so-cleverly slide in during a pt because he feels everyone needs to know all his job levels.

JP that front like they dont speak english until they need to lot or they want something from you.

EN that front about speaking JP but have to reassure you they took 1.5 years of jp in college by putting romaji in every single damn macro they make.

Ppl who dont understanding how lotting works. its not golf people. highest score wins damn it.

I play the game as a social aspect as well as the content itself. I like to carry along in conversations as well. I don't play whm to cator to loldrgs and like that feel they need poisona at that exact instance.

I really don't think it's be so bad to at least be able to hit macros while having the text box open. I don't need the menus and such, but give me my macros and I'd be happy.

New pet peeve though, coming to see this site just see sev has spammed every forum...usually twice.

It's not FFXI's fault
but I can't get it to work often at my school
cause too many people kill the internet here
and it makes me depressed cause FFXI is like crack
and so I am angry.
As you can see, I can get online, just not online enough to play FFXI or stream videos/music etc unless its 8 am

It is rather annoying for people to nag for poisona the very moment they get poisoned. Unless its like Paralyze or Silence on the NIN or PLD, please shut up and the WHM or /WHM will get to you shortly. Seriously, its not like they're blind.

I understand that ;p I play for social and for the game itself as well, but what I am doing in a PT comes first. A simple "give me a moment inbattle" would work fine, if its a long answer to a complicated question.

I don't mean neccessarily just to friends /telling me; but more in events like dynamis and such. If I'm going whm I pretty much have to focus on curing for 3 hours straight with very little down time. Would be nice if I could joke along with the rest of the group and enjoy the game in that aspect a bit more.

Also, longer fights like Kirin if we arn't melee burning it; where I might need to call out things to party/linkshell.

Over all not a major annoyance, but I don't really understand why I can't hit a macro while in midsentence. Most people that know me now are use to my broken English sentence structure. Two or three words, pause, cure, stona, couple more words.

Exp parties I don't really care about now. Thats just such a mindless activity now that I usually just watch TV on the couch while hitting my macros with a wireless controller :x

You can get TP when you're dead. Or not, actually. The game doesn't work that way.

But seriously, people going "zzz" is pretty obnoxious. Except when I get slept in a party and the healer doesn't notice.

Coming from the main healers position, and of course everybody is different....

• Melee that say zzz.
  
  Um...yup, that one i can see...along with other status statements. I don't need the immediate status statement in /party or /tell. I'm in the middle of a cast...or the spell timer isn't ready yet.

• Pullers that pull without consideration for the parties mp status....

• People that feel the need to /check me/others every time I/they blink so they can make sure my/their equipment is up to expectations.
  
  
  What are you going to accomplish by verbally bashing in someone's noodle? Yeah, I know that you have an elitist's attitude, but unless your going to actually buy someone's equipment for them, keep a lid on it. While there are times that you see someone that you know is out to leech, most of the time, people are actually doing the best that they can..... If you really don't like what the party has going on, you'll look better and won't get yourself blacklisted if you politely bow out of the party.... You might actually need help from someone someday, and it's easier to get said help if people don't think your a jerk server wide.....

• Running out of coffee while playing FFXI. This is generally a bad thing.

• Excessive rr breaks from running out of coffee...

I have yet to successfully deal with the dilemma of the last two. I hate a=b. LOL
