Yeah, on every other vBulletin based forum I visit, the "Go to first unread posts" link takes me right to the first post I haven't read. Not this forum. I have to click in my User CP (I subscribe to every thread I post in) and just click "Last page."

Very annoying.

How can that be your pet peeve?! I love that mountain! I've got my system of climbing to just over a minute now, need to shave a few more seconds off and I'll be set.

And yes I use the keyboard to navigate it. Actually do better with keyboard that controller.

Reminds me of every game that decides to do mash-this-key-repeatedly-as-fast-as-you-can. Track & Field was years and years ago. By the time Metal Gear Solid came out, Konami should have known better than to use that game play mechanism (and I do use the term "game play" very loosely here).

Oh wait, I majorly derailed there. That's not even a pet peeve of *this* game.

The problem is alot of the threads when you click on them they bring you to the middle, and on accomplishment thread that is like a year old post. He is bitching to get it fixed, i would love it to happen as well.

Yea, the problem with the forums isn't major, and I notice it mainly in just really long threads like this (93 pages). If I go to the New Post >> this thread, it will take me to the middle of the thread. Happens on several computers and connections, so I assume it's a forum thing and not hardware/software setting or something.

I've personally never had a problem finding new posts by simply clicking on "New Posts." It doesn't take much for me to figure out what page I left off on.

1.) RDM, SMN, BLM who over-cure me as a WHM; sneaking in a Cure II as I cast Cure III, sneaking a Cure III as I cast Cure V.

2.) RDM, SMN, BLM who cast Cure II/III after I cast Regen III (thus wasting some MP and more importantly a LOT of casting time - Regen is a slow spell to cast.)

3.) RDM who fast-cast a Cure III/IV after I start a Cure III/V and end up making me waist MP.

4.) RDM, SMN, BLM, who do the above when its not even neccessary for them to be backup curing (like when I still have 600+ MP left).

5.) RDM, SMN, and BLM who then procede to bitch me out for not doing my job (usually because they have NO mp because they are doing my job, and I have 600+ MP because they are doing mine)

6.) And the number one pet peve, RDM, SMN, and BLM who do all of the above and non of our members have even dropped to yellow yet -.-

Edit: As a side note, if this thread can be kept from getting defensive - that is, if people don't get into the "Well, I'm job X and I do what you say not to because..." I think it has the potential to be a real eye-opener in terms of "the little things" that people do they may not even be aware of.

well i hate complaining and this page is just a bunch of complainers. im a rdm and i never pt with whms cause i can do all the healing just fine by myself with no other mages in pt. and i do 30k xp an hour. whms need down time and take forever to cast spells. and in a pt the only benefit is having haste. all other spells can pretty much be used with /whm sub. whm really only good for end game hnm and events. i never xp with whms.

what the fact that whms get mad because they are uneeded in xp pts? that rdms can make a melee burn throw a brd in and do 30k xp an hour?

Everyone knows that a rdm can main heal at many levels of the game, but that doesn't mean you are the only ones.

Whm can can last just as long as rdm in merit parties making just as good exp. While rdm have several mp recovery abilities/spells, whm have mp saving spells like higher level regen, protectra/shellra, and of course all the -na spells when coupled with Divine Seal makes them AoE.

Sure rdms are great, but even a half decent whm can preform just as well or better than rdms in meripo. Please don't make whm out to be nothing but a Raise III whore for dynamis and other events. We are just as good in a party as you are. Even as "King of Enfeebling", I've yet to have problems enfeebling any mob in exp, and can do quiet well in other events such as dynamis/kings.
