1) Watch for abilities and don't WS during flash.

I would, but that Flash is handled by Murphie's Law. It only ever happens right when I go for sidewinder, slug shot or fire Barrage. Never before. Never after. Only when I do these.

Unless flash actually hits you mid macro, you can avoid this at all costs, again if your not meleeing to tp up should never be a problem. SLUT SHOT has an added effect of flash right?

Blinking when equip swapping. Here am I, being chased by a statue in Dynamis which I am trying to nuke down, poor Bautier trying to refresh me, and I blink when I change staff with my macros. Cue much grumbling (actually, that was mostly when he was put in the blm party). I have also been on the other end of it enough times to know it is bloody annoying.

Its nice to know people still remember how annoying it is when they are not the ones buffing constantly lol.

Just makes more sense to have a BRD in a pt of BLMs, Refresh x6 is a bitch. Not to mention hideously boring when doing it for 3 hrs non stop.

My peeve, RDM that dont seem to know they have these spells called ENFEEBLES that help out an awful lot when cast. Given, Dyna-Bastok mobs dont last all that long but as I said, Silence is silence and Dispel is Dispel.

I saw no effort to use these 2 spells in the majority. A slipped thundaga III and Kusa suicide is Alliance Wipe and R1's all round. I could bang on for ages. You get the point. Worse bit is when sacks refuse to say anything, tho i guess there's other factors in there.

Just let things be I tell myself (while whinging at Kirst about it) but it still bugs the hell outta me. Not saying im perfect, I have serious lazy days, but this is over a period of 3-4 months.

New one tonight would be "vet" players that have been playing since pre-fucking development, giving it the "omg u noob" at a fact I was not to know. I asked if with 2 BRDS it was possible to have 4 ballads, and i was belittled. Well fuck you coz how am i supposed to know when until tonight iv never been in a 2 BRD pt, and I dont even have BRD unlocked. Go be leet somewhere else and go DIAF.

I'd say it happens like 50% of the time on my RNG, but COR I avoid it more easily because I melee for most of my TP. Only way my RNG can really avoid the Flash completely is to play at bow range.

Thing is, with bard, it's very easy to think you're good, even if you're not. Namely because the spotlight (or the disco ball, rather) is always on you.

You have no clue how many bards have no clue about this. I have informed so many people about this, then come to find out they are 75 brd. I will be an elitest any day over someone who doesn't know the in's and out's of my own job. @ hong naw alot of people who haven't leveled the job or had the chance know, but if you ask again i call you nub! =D

Dynamis - Windurst. Seeing two Jade shells on the past two runs(2 per run). Both failures. First set Mega Boss 3%..... wipe, then time runs out.
This time. Summoner House NM Astral Flow, not enough time for reraise ect.
That zone never wants to see me clear on my hume..... I have it on my mithra... but the person who was supposed to log both chars in for me since i had to miss a run forgot about my hume.... Only time windy cleared....... ARG...............................

My Dyna LS tells us before and during the run that if we aggro the "death house" as we call it, they will find out who aggroed it first and that person will lose all their points for that run. That's a pretty good incentive not to aggro the death house, if you ask me, based upon the fact that I don't get to attend every run and I want to get all the points I can.

The only problem with bard in blm party at Dynamis is - have you ever tried to get five blm to stand close enough together to hit them all with Ballad? Wheee a statue lets run - get outta my way (another pet peeve - melee who crowd the blm at Dyna).

I would go rdm, but we have so many I can't justify going rdm over blm - especially when at the end we only had 2 left. So, instead the rdm will just have to put up with me screaming at them "silence the damn scorps".
