People who have statics for everything. City Missions, Assaults, CoP Missions, Zilart Missions, Parties, NM hunts, HNM hunts... you name it, they have a static for it.
I can't get into ANY kind of static. The people who get into every one under the sun just piss me off.

Statics are easy to form. >_>

I mostly avoid them for missions because I don't want some people on the LS to feel left out. It's better (if slower) to pull entire LS along, and give everyone a chance to be a part of the community.

I mostly avoid them for missions because I don't want some people on the LS to feel left out. It's better (if slower) to pull entire LS along, and give everyone a chance to be a part of the community.

It just depends on how the LS works. I can go either way, personally.

Only static i'm in is a ls party for our now level 42-44 jobs =x
You can still make friends/statics from getting pick up parties for other stuff.

Lyonheart's pet peeve #613: players who need their hand held all the time (i.e. they just can't seem to do anything on their own).

A player in one of my social LSs asked last night "What's good for a 67 RDM to farm?" He got a few suggestions, to which he went into 20 questions mode (What is that? Where do I get that? How much is it worth?). Even after that, he asked if Magic Pot Shards would be good gil, as a friend told him they sell for 12k a stack.

Now, "good gil" is very subjective. Each person has a different threshold for what amount of gil per hour is worth their time. And regardless of how much a drop goes for, it's important to take into account how often it drops.

So I asked him what he's done in the past to make gil. His answer is that he's simply been poor through 67 levels, and relied on help from his friends. He's never done any significant amount of work to raise gil, whether it be farming, crafting or HELM. So even if he went out and farmed up a stack of magic pot shards, he would have no clue whether he was making "good gil" or not.

RDM67: So how do I tell whats good gil?

Apparently, he expected the LS to dump a map to a gold mine in his lap, complete with detailed step by step instructions on how he could make a bunch of gil. He seemed to think he was above having to go out and try out farming different mobs at different zones himself. Even though he wasn't asking for hand outs, the behavioral pattern didn't seem any different.

Pet peeve of the moment, people that slow down a party by constantly going afk. I know this has been brought up before, but not by me. After this WHM decided he needed to go from wajaom to jeuno to get his empress band recharged, he finally arrived to say "Sorry afk. Phone."

And currently, me and the rest of my party sit/stand here doing nothing. Oh and look at that. Sanction just wore off. Killer.

Thats a popular trend these days from what my ls mates been saying in any non static party they've been in. Even ppl in the middle of dynamis with the dangerous pulls been doing it more often >_>; Not gonna repeat sac pulling bastok cause some afk isn't on the grafe!

So, this is one I've had to deal with a lot lately.

Dying 2-3 minutes into the charge on my Mighty and Vision rings. It seems that if I'm almost done with the charge, I'll miraculously pull through despite the odds (mob misses a lot, or I'll get that lucky crit or two). But if I've just used 'em? Dead Taru city. :/

I think I'm going to buy a second set for instances like this. God I hate leveling NIN.

edit: Then I get my charges back, and I start fighting my first mob, and a damn link comes from out of nowhere, and I have to zone, thus removing the charges again.

I hated ninjar, still do...with the exception of a party that knows what they are doing. Shame though, all my ninjar parties have been pickups, at a level range not much different from Dunes. :/

My pet peeve for today is:
