Yes. Increasingly.

The site they revert you to in order to purchase the expansion is (according to the url) some facet of the SE Account Management System, but when it prompts you to enter the fields "Username" and "Password", it won't accept your SE equivalent of those answers.

It's only after closer inspection that the above-description explains "Username=Email Address". Why on earth would they ask for a username when what it really wants is your Email?

And finally (and most infuriatingly), the email it wants you to provide is the one you originally registered with... unless you've changed it at some point. Did I ever change it? Nope. Why? Because I've never had cause to. Which of my 8 email addresses did I use? Obviously the last one I tried. What was the password for it? Obviously none of the ones I could think of... forcing me to use "Forgot your password?" and go through the process of recovering it.

The moral of this story... POL was perfectly acceptable before you fucked it all up, SE! STOP FUCKING UP MY SHIT!!!

POL was never acceptable.

So is Adoulin downloaded through POL like the mini-spansions or on a disc or what? I happily migrated to the Steam version so I wouldn't have to tear apart my house looking for the install discs every 6-18 months and I really don't want to go back to that problem.

Btw, peeve: The tension between not wanting to be gimp and not wanting to fail at real life. This is a new thing for me.
