I knew you were talking about a server hop, I was trying to make a joke about how FFXI doesn't support basic mechanics, since this is, after all, a pet peeve thread.

But I guess it was too subtle and didn't work.

Shouting "Capricornus/Yacumama (Do you need it?) (Team up?) (colorful abyssite) [O]" in Port Jeuno isn't proving to be as effective as I hoped it would be (perhaps I should reword it). A PLD and BST examined me, but nothing happened after that :/

Also, I had no idea colourful abyssite was in auto-translate until just recently.

That was my general experience as well on Valefor. Is there no one in the linkshell that can assist with this? I ask because you're not going to be able to solo your Briareus Helms and Sobek Skins--so I'd imagine the same people who would be helping you with those should help you with your VNM's. Of course, that's a huge presumption on my end--you could simply merc all your 50 helms and skins...not that I've seen any merc's on Valefor >_>

Speaking of Mercs I wonder how much it would take to hire a party for the last genkai. <_<

After spending 3 days hunting for the damn items for the taru I think that might be my best option.

I stopped playing FFXI shortly after posting that, but no. No one in the Linkshell was online at the time. I know they would have been happy to help, though.
