    You guys may laugh, but my Hornetneedle+Beestinger combo murdered many elemental enemies in my time. Level 7(?) equipment ftw.

      There's a minor difference between "stop having fun, guys" and "stop being so incredibly resilient to change that it becomes literally impossible for you to successfully clear any event implemented within the past two years because wiping/timing out isn't fun, guys".

      I think learning it is something that would be a great service to everybody.

        Elementals don't have TP moves.
        Daggers used to have a TP floor.
        Something-something-Sword-WS-super-version-of-Spirits-Within didn't exist at the time.

                What peeves me is that there exist people who won't even be satisfied with that much.
                All I can say is, called it from a freaking mile away. Weren't some of those people clamoring for a "full FFXI expansion" just a year or so ago?

                  Why does it bother you so much what people say though? They can complain all the want but in the end the game is what it is. If they don't like it they will quit, and if they just like complaining they will keep paying anyway.


                  Unless you are simply peeved that other people has different opinions than your own and they are vocal about it. In which case there isn't much anyone can do about it.

                        Spent the morning farming pop sets for Sobek with a pick up group of a BLM and a THF in an effort to get some Cards of Balance for my final piece of COR AF that I have yet to +2.

                        Killed him 5 times... TH and Yellow proc on every one of them and not a single card dropped.

                        Awesome.

                          Skilling up 2 handed weapons is stupid even with the food. Finally got Staff to 315 (caps around 398) and i still have Scythe and Great Sword to look forward too...both in the low 100s

                              dont think you can skill that high off those. And it's possible to die now from them. didnt they adjust the demons to run closer?

                                I don't recall hearing about any anti-skilling up measures but they take you to about level 80 skill cap or a little below.
