I did no such thing. I informed you that you were welcome to come to Valefor... and advised you ahead of time that I play wacky hours and will likely never see you.
You knew the risks going in. You wana see me online? Log on at 6:00am EST and send me a /tell.

So much unjustified Murph vs Yyg hate. I still don't understand why. He pops on from time to time... only posts once... and it's to insult me. Then he just logs off for days on end.
I know for certain that he's got a new job... new living situation... and unreliable internet access, so I don't really blame him for not being around... I just wish he had more to say than just "YYGSUCKSBYE"
I agree complete. I quit FFXI a few months ago because I couldn't find anyone to party "old school" with, meaning 6 people at an actual camp with no PL bull**it. I have never cheated in FFXI and I refuse to do so. I created an "old school" linkshell and the main rules were no leeching, no FoV or GoV burns, old school partying only. I had to constantly kick members because I would see them as level 30 or something in abyssea. Give me a break. IMHO, if you want xp, you should earn it, not have it given to you. If you just cheat your way to 99, you'll just be a player with fancy schmancy gear or whatever and have no idea what to do with your job. I once met an RDM70 ask me, "My healing skill is 20. Is that good?" And on and on. I just couldn't take it anymore. It's a shame. Once they raised the level cap, created Abyssea and the books, they ruined the game. It has no integrity anymore. Not worth my money to play a game I have no respect for anymore.
No seriously, when a player doesn't know their job it bugs the living hell out of me. I watched a warrior let a WHM tank, when they could've prov'd hate right off it. The end result was a Dunes party almost lost, but was saved due a a RDM running by us. Casted a good few Cure III's and we were well back on our feet. I've also seen a MNK ask me questions about using a great sword. People if your going to get a job, DO IT CORRECTLY! It takes only one idiot to fuck up a well rounded party and screw everyone over in the process due to them lacking knowledge about their job. I've seen whole Abyssea parties go down because of this, the new GoV needs to go. They need to set up an old school server, I miss Dunes parties and sitting in Quifim grinding away at worms and crabs. It gave a thrill of accomplishment knowing that next level would be your last in order to get that next limit break or merit point. This whole book burn needs to go. Someone got Deathja handy for that? :D I mean seriously these new people piss me off with their smug attitudes when all they did was Book Burn to level 50 and BB'd some more from 60+. Now there are nothing but newbs running around in Abyssea with a level 30 mindset because they don't know how to play their job properly.

Those people have been around forever though. I've known folks who took roughly half a decade to get to 75 and scrape together a meager handful of shinies, but they were still terrible at the game. Good people, but very poor players. The underlying problem has always been there and always will be there.
The death of the 6 man party though, go ahead and crucify Abyssea for that one. You'll get no argument from me.
