Pet peeve last night, I was in a FULL fucking alliance of people in Gusgen Mines. We had a RDM 99 who was tossing around cure I's and II's. You fucking serious? Just because you want to reserve your MP you want to let our party fall to ribbons? Screw you. She let most of our party die and we were sync'd at 16. Are you serious? We even had a DNC back up healing because she couldn't keep up with the heals. That's the shit that bothers me, how do you have a 99 Job and not know how to play it properly? She was so terrible at her job, she did NOT ONCE cast a Cure III. She should've been tossing Cure III's since we were pulling Ghouls. Like honestly I've never seen a shitier RDM in my life. I've seen a level 75 do better than a 99. Quite honestly, these new kids need to get the fuck out, tit's is not an option.

There is no way in hell a level 99 Red Mage should be having any MP problems whatsoever curing a Gusgen party. Syncing to 16 is highly suspect however. I'd say you were dealing with some grade A nimrods.

Yeah she told us to pull Ghouls and we did, 4 people got taken out by ONE Ghoul at one point. I dropped the party sent her a tell, "When you can play your job, you let me know." Went and solo'd in the dunes until 30. Screw that dude.

You shouldn't be pulling Ghouls at 16. Everyone's gonna have floored accuracy or close to it at that level. That person was simply pants-on-head retarded.

I'm not 100% against it, but I haven't been in a group that PL'd us in a LONG time. Some WHMs that are leveling tend to get lazy with a PL also. Not me. I still tossed Cures and Regens back when I was leveling and a PL was there. But then again, maybe I should have gotten some Club and Staff Skill ups at that time lol...Too late for that now, though.

You underestimate the level of incompetence that other people can achieve. Seriously, there are people that really and truly are that bad.

Some just get a little over-confident and/or over-excited when they're doing something new!? Some even feel as though they can do what they want just because they're in an ally AND get a ton of levels, so that leads to them NOT paying attention.

I've even witnessed folks not caring about their HP (blood-aggro range), and when they get a bunch of aggro, they are whining! I even think it's just the "new" things they do, or they try to rush. Some of those would be Veteran players who are just looking for something to level in their spare/free time, but they don't realize they are hurting the group.

Yep. Had 4 WHMs and a RDM run past me while I was dead in Dynamis the other night. They didn't just run PAST me either... they trampled my corpse and didn't think it would be a nice gesture to cast Raise on me. Apparently charity is not worth the MP.

As long as people aren't actually confusing language barriers with xenophobia it's ok.

Because in all my years playing I saw english speaking people doing and saying pretty nasty stuff to players just because they didn't speak english or were bad at it. Because "everyone should know english".

When I was killing Crawlers in Rolanberry, I saw some JP DNC who was at my level. The conversation went as thus:

This isn't necessarily xenophobia, but I was somewhat irked that the person would just shrug off faster kills like that (my Fellow is something of a killing machine at this point). But at least we managed to not step on each other's toes a lot.

Idiocy comes in varying degrees in Final Fantasy XI, but I think this took the cake. And the rest of the desserts too. In an EXP party just now at Conflux 8 in Altepa, somebody in my party spawned Tablilla. Why? Because he needed skill ups, of course.

Don't know if there is talk about him on the server or cross server or whatever, but Racerboipinoy is definitely a few beers short of a six pack, what with the ridiculous questions he shouts about all the time. To speak of nothing of the queenish name he's picked for himself.

Newest pet peeve…getting burned by jackass people :/. And having to pretty much just deal with it. I knew it would happen to me someday too. I kept telling myself I’d fall for it sooner or later.

Last night I was tired after doing some Emp runs and Fishing. My buddy jumped on so I made it a point to help him out with dynamis forgotten items. Stayed the full 2 hours and got him his 10 forgotten items along with 11 more for me. While back in port jeuno (borderline passing out), I was talking with the LS and another good member was talking about how she’s on stage 4, needs 70 more 100 Bynes and how she didn’t see maybe people selling Bynes and yadda yadda yadda.

Thought i'd be helpful one last time before bed so I started looking and well…like I said I fell for it. I check some asshole’s bazaar
