From what I hear, Peapuks in the tree have a high drop rate. I was in Dangruf Wadi fighting crabs and monkeys last night and had three drop in an hour using /thf and Yuly.

The verdict is in. Higher level mobs have better drop rates. That or the Random Number Generator decided to take pity on me.

Less than 20 mobs in at Gustav Tunnel got me a Seasoning Stone.

There's a pic on BG of the Mythic upgrade item dropping off PW. As well as a post about a group killing regular Dynamis Lord and not getting a relic upgrade item. Sepculation pointing to Arch DL (repeat speculation).

I’m not very surprised that the item comes from PW. I mean it kinda makes sense seeing as the 90-95 trial are Tinnin/Tyger/Sam. But if you’re looking at 1000 of said item (or was mythic 500)…your fuking insane SE. Looks like some guy did some gorilla math and it would take 4 years to get that much zeni for 500 items. If it was 10-25 items, that’s a different story. If you could at least get the sets, getting enough bodies probably wouldn’t be an issue (seeing as his Atma is top notch).

I expected DL being the relic requirement… but not ADL (which is again speculation).

Wheather it’s a good thing or bad thing, the items don’t appear to be EX. Bazaarable for 10m ; ; ?

Well. If you consider the new upgrades for the +3 versions of the Elemental ToM weapons... they may reduce the number needed as they increase the difficulty. They went from 40 Geodes to 15 "__"ites without any noticable increase in farming difficulty. Maybe it would be as low as 50. Unless you buy them from bazaars... that's still a huge time investment.

So I'm thinking to myself about how much gil I have... and how it's not enough. I do, however... have a lot of Cruor and Dominion notes.

Conversion rate on Dominion notes depends on what weapon you buy to convert. I always use the Polearm since it sells for 7,145 every time for me. It costs 2,500 DN. Effectively it's a 2.87 conversion. I have 250,000 DN... so just shy of 720,000 gil worth of DN. Cruor on the other hand (what a lousy exchange rate) is just about 2.1. I have 850,000 Cruor... so 1,700,000 gil. If I converted it all, I'd have 2,420,000 gil... combined with my current savings of 800,000 between my main and my mule... I'd have 3,220,000ish.

The cost of the item I want is 3.2mil. If I spent all day converting, running back and forth... and tapping myself out completely... I could buy it and have 20k left to my name.

I just... cant justify... spending all day... for 1 situational piece of gear that will leave me penniless.

Looked it up. Apparently you buy them for 200gil each... stackable (that I like) and probably faster to buy. They sell to an NPC for around 529gil. This is roughly a 2.65 conversion rate. You sir... made my day.

That turns my 850,000 into 2,252,000 instead of 1,700,000. A difference of 550k. That is nothing to ignore. Blinkers it is.

That would bring my grand total to 3,772,500. I'd be able to afford what I want with 500k left over. It's happening.

Do you need the gil today or can you hold off a few days? Seriously just go do 2 hours of dyanmis today and tomorrow. you'll get currency to convert to gil and forgotten items to turn into relic+2

save that 800k cruor for isginbnikjdfa brewing (the hearts for your emp)

Thats awesome. I'm going to do that with the forgotten items. I'll be going in with some of my buddies then.
