Sure I have +2 items... do I have the seals yet for them? Nope. Starting to feel like being in my slave driving Dynamis LS again...

You'll thank yourself later when you get out of this phase and start farming seals. +2 items seem to me to be generally more work than seals. I've got seals for pup feet that I still have yet to farm.

But then I've been almost completely ignoring Abyssea lately. I'm on my way to 900 stones as I burn GoV to level a lot of jobs to 57 (Scorpion Harness level, and just right for Crawler's Nest). And somehow during all that, I managed to almost finish the last missions I still needed. My biggest worries lately are when someone starts poaching crawlers kicking the alliance into low gear, or a sync goes afk. And once I finish all that, I'm just about at AF level for all these jobs, opening up a whole new bunch of run and fetch quests all at once.

So yeah, try something different already. Missions or GoV burns or something. (FYI, level 33 to 57 takes about 6 hours, and you can log in the zone to keep your bonuses for the next day.)

New pet peeve: looking at how far I've come and how far I have to go. About to hit 66 on my characters, and I've got to farm testimonies, do the level cap, and grind my way to 75. And it really is a grind, as I'm not getting any snappy new abilities, just swapping out weaponskills to move from level 2 chains to level 3. From there, I have to do abyssea, where even if I'm pulling in 50k an hour+, it's still a straight 16 hour grind to 90, followed by an apparent 70 hour grind to cap merits. Then I have to farm seals and coins/stones, followed by a potential "humph, guess I should have leveled a ninja tank".

I'm not sure I agree. I've had more trouble farming seals than soloing NMs that drop +2 items.

This whole transfer BS they are putting us through right now. They are trying to push us to get it done, but the first time I tried, (Aug 1) it told me I had to wait until next month to try. I tried again Aug 2, and the click and pay or whatever it's called can't recognize my address and I can't proceed. They don't have a toll free number to call, so I have to sit and wait for them to email me back. Glad I didn't procrastanate this one. I don't wanna have to buy Crysta or whatever it's called, seems like a stupid idea IMO. Just take my money every month off my credit card like its been done these past years.

I found +2 items to be a little harder only because there’s ONE specific NM that drops 1-3 of the needed item. And all the others have ‘only a chance’ to drop 1.
Also that some of the +2 NMs require more lower NM KIs than others.

Then there are stupid ones like Durinn. Where one of the KIs needed for him drops off a harder NM (Davlinn).

As far as the fights themselves though, +2 NMs weren’t entirely more difficult to beat vs the seals imo.

Well, if we were doing all of the +2 NMs it would be great .. but we are only ever doing the ones for Almace and Masamune. Over and over and over and over and over... cuz most everyone wants those.. recently started on someone's Twashtar but even that is the same few as we've been doing and haven't really even begun doing Orthrus where at least I'd finally get my DNC body seals from Amarok.

I'm just annoyed at the switch from 'the good of the many' to 'the good of a few'. I wish we'd just alternate.

Have you let the leadership know you have concerns? Alternatively you might try just taking a few days off since it sounds like you're getting a little burned out.

I'm not getting any Emp. weapon out of it. I'd go for Twashtar and am only at killing Serra3-4x which isn't very far at all... but because I'm helping others getting their Emp Weapons during the hours I get to play, I can't camp the NMs that I'd need to in order to jump in on the 'build me a pyramid' bandwagon.

I've taken some days off. I took a week off cuz I had other responsibilities... then came back on the day I understood to be devoted for getting people caught up with seals only to find it to be another run for Emp Weapons stuffs.

Yes, I will speak more to the leadership. I talked to them previously but nothing has really changed.

You, sir... have what is called... a Linkshell. It's a little known fact... but linkshells are usually like that. Your "managment" is probably a group of 16-18 year olds who see your "I think the way things are going is unfair" an raise you a "mmmmmkay.... but things and stuff for me? I can haz?"
