Anybody else think the Goetia armor set looks so terribly out of place? When I see it, I feel as if it were designed with Final Fantasy XIV sensibilities in mind.

My best guess is that they needed a bottleneck back when ToAU was the hot place to be.

Thus it is currently an irrelevant annoyance.

In GoV alliances:

People who flag up when way over level (like 65+ in Crawler's Nest... get to Sandy already you idiot!) especially when there are 4 or 5 other people waiting for an opening. Then you end up with not enough syncs.

People who flag up anonymous, presumably hiding how low (or even high) a level they are. "But you can kick me when you need to!" Yeah, we're always full here. Go pick a more level-appropriate zone. And if you're 75+, GTFO to Abyssea already.

People like the above who insist on staying flagged up for two hours in an inappropriate zone where nobody will invite them, rather than move to a more appropriate zone. You'll get better exp than the zero you're getting now, dumbass.

People who /follow on someone except to get a new page. Leeching is one thing, but at least make a fucking effort. And if you're just AFK for a page, at least say so before humping someone on follow.

Syncs who suddenly go afk, without warning, sometimes standing there dancing on the wall, and you don't realize it until people get no credit for mobs. Also syncs (or leaders) who d/c

Party leaders who somehow manage to pick the level 68 when resyncing (It happened twice tonight. Is it really that hard?)

Poachers... usually someone who decides that a limited (2 pages worth of pops within range of the book) mob by the entrance is perfect to skill up on. And of course if there's room and you invite them, they won't join. And then they mess up the alliance's rhythm by killing even one mob. Or they're someone who just got there and flagged up. Can you have a bit of patience kplx?

People who can't count to three, and pull a mob after the page completion message.

And hey SE, how about one in Kuftal Tunnel already? Is it that important to cater to the <0.1% of JPs who still don't have Zilart? You haven't been able to not buy Zilart since beta ended, though it was possible for a while to not enter that code.

Real men type commands manually.

By the time the spell completes, I usually have more than enough time for the next one to be ready. Not only do I rock the command line, I rock the <a##> too.

JP midnight restrictions are so dumb. I'll be all pumped to blitz through some missions and then I'll get through one and have to wait on JP midnight and it just takes all the wind out of my sails.

I simply do not understand the motivation behind that design choice.

As I mentioned the other day, I think the "wait one Vanadiel day if you LOSE the fight" restrictions are much stupider. Because it wasn't hard enough to get 3-5 people together as it was, now we have to wait over half an hour before we can try again?

Agree with this and all of the above. I couldn't have put it better myself. I went to join some friends in Crawler's Nest on my DNC. I was too high, but since I was joining people there, it didn't matter. On the way, they tell me to make sure to get RR. I'm thinking "Why?" I main healed an alliance on DNC the other day. Bees and crawlers die fast enough that they only get one or so TP moves off, and the only harmful ones are Sharp Sting and Final Sting. So, I do a quick /sea of the Nest. In an alliance of 15 or so, there is one level 9, two in the low 20s, and a handful of upper 20s. Aren't there other GoV areas that would be better for them? No wonder they wanted me to get RR.

Long story short, I didn't even come close to dying, but it was slow.

Bad BCNM drops. Nothing quite like dropping 40 seals on an orb and coming out with less than 100k in drops.

This is sort of a mixture of a rl and ffxi peeve.
The game decides to tell me my cc will expire at the end of the month. Which is nice of SE because I was unaware.

The thing is my new card hasn't arrived yet and the registration will soon be down so I can't change it.
I'm worried I'm going to be permabanned for an expired card.
I used to use a prepay card and for some reason every payment would automatically fail unless I put the transaction through manually through Pol.
Since I have my cc which is compatable I've had no problems at all but since then SE have been a little strict as far as payment goes.

If the forums on the interwebs are to believed a truckload of people have been permabanned due to their cards expiring and other reasons of failed payments.
I know alot of banned people don't really give 100% truth to why they were banned but these stories have me worried now because I fear I may become one of them.

Have any of you guys had a cc expire at the billing period? If so I'm curious as to what happened.
I'd hate to lose everything (Not that my character is anything to brag about)
Knowing my luck though, I can feel it's going to happen.

so back to the peeve.
Ty SE for informing me but not understanding that our banks send out cc's close to the date of expiration.
Ty SE for preventing me changing my details when my new cc arrives.

Relax, you have like 10 days before the end of the month. And they don't ban on an expired card, the account is locked until you enter updated details.

I just worry when it comes to this game. I seem to be one of those people where if something can go wrong then it will.
like when I moved house and had to have my pc fixed and re-formatted. I discovered my discs were lost in the move or when I was installing and my external drive vibrated off my desk and the disc inside was scratched to hell and back and I went to every store in birmingham I could find looking for new ones. I had to travel to staffordshire for new ones (mega long bus journey ) on the plus side I got the expansions I was lacking.

Wow, it's basically the opposite in Sylph. Crawler's Nest alliances tend to be top-heavy, with a lot of people in the 50s and 60s.

I think this was a special "Leech Day" or something. Every other Nest alliance I've been in has been more top heavy.
