On the Rdm as a main healer, I have a friend like you who hate to main heal. But at the same point yells at me for having Brd Rdm Warx4 parties and not inviting her over the 4th warrior.

Pet peeve #523: People who freak out about a small mistake and won't let it die.

I did an Excavation Duty Assault run the other week where the guy who put the party together told us we'd kill the Qiqirn to try and get Qiqirn Mines to blow away the Brittle Rocks. This was my first time doing it that way, so I didn't realize how the special item got distributed. I saw it "drop", but I didn't notice that I was the one who specifically received the item. When we got the next Brittle Rock, I started meleeing it along with everyone else. I must have missed the first message in /p chat of the party leader saying to use it. After a little bit, he typed out a message in all caps telling me to use the bomb.

Ooops. I apologized to the party and used the bomb. I didn't mind his behavior up to that point. But when the second bomb dropped, it AGAIN went to me. Before I was even close enough to engage the next Brittle Rock and use the item, the party leader basically typed the same all caps message, telling me to use the bomb. He didn't even give me a chance to prove that I'm not a complete idiot who needs micro management.

Soap box message of the day: Give people a chance to fail. Don't automatically assume that just because they made a mistake once that they are going to keep making that same mistake.

Husband in RL. I found that the best solution was to /logout and go to bed, which is exactly what I did after my little rant there. Well, I had logged out first.

Players have the right to not play a role they don't like or that it isn't fun for them. But at the same time they lose the right to complain when people doesn't invite them for other stuff.

New game pet peeve: People who don't understand what afk means, signed up to help some random assault shouts in White Gate. I get my tags say afk because my dinner was done. I start making a plate and i hear <call> spam, I run back into my room see the whole party dead. Troll Fugitives > tankless pt. I go make the rest of my plate come back, we win its all ok.

So I decide to seek, I get invited by the rdm mentioned above. Ninja dc's whm goes afk so i decided to go do dishes for 2 min, everyone says ok that's fine, i turn on the water hear call spam again. They decided to pull 2 colibri's because the rdm said she would main heal, I come back mighty strikes we all live. Then I get /t OMG I can't believe I had to main heal. (head vs wall x 20)

I am about to log, I get asked to help a friend kill Tres. I get on my Rng head to camp for tres, no aggro takes like 5 min to get there. Friend says they will be 15 min I say afk, I go play Wii tennis. I check back and well 50 min later they are all in the zone, I say afk to go to the rr etc. I get back half of them are dead screaming where is sev??? He isnt at camp he is gonna get lost wtf. I said im right here been at camp 55 min and oh <t>.


So basically Shitty Day defeats Sev.

Ouch. 1/1 for my own camping, 4/4 for helping others before my own. =x Last time I was camping him was completly unexpected cause I went in for farming the cockatrice. But I ended up helping a jp monk who was soloing him cause he wanted my TH. Though i did wanted, but he was there longer so I let him claim the mob and he got the earring after i finished it off. Second spawn lost to RMT campers that showed up -.-; stupid 3 second wait after it popped...... Then for the third one, before doing Airship, no one showed up.. spawned, and mine @_@;; Rdm/war ftw on that one =x Maybe try that, lol.

Another peeve.... rdms that are in merit parties that don't dispel and silence mamoo ja philosphers.......Went in with my ls for soem quick exp/merit while waiting for the last member for the lvl 25-27 static party. I went on whm after such a long time of being on rdm, lets just say... If a whm can land and cast silence faster without having +enfeebling magic gear on or moldy, something is wrong there >_>;;

Not really excusing your RDM (cause he should have figured it out eventually!) but maybe it's the first time he's merited there, and he didn't know which mobs needed silence/dispel/etc. I know that it usually takes me a chain until I've got it down when I'm fighting mobs I've never fought before.

Still, after the first - maybe the second - chain, the RDM should have been able to figure it out, but good for you for picking up the slack.

Thing it was, it was for all the mobs that cast he kepted missing on. Been there afor about 2 hours so yea..... And you'd expect to see more dispels when they used Warm-Up or recast Shock Spikes. Also, subbed Fenny missed his AoE dispel all the time against them ;-;

I dont know if anyone posted this yet because i didnt bother to read 57 pages. =o.
WTF is this new trend of MNK/NIN. Why? cuz you dont wanna take a hit? gonna be a big baby about it? counterstance, use it. period. Grow a pair and merit it. your gonna give up double attack cuz you dont wanna get hit. ppl who play 75 mnk/nin in a merit pt should be slapped. make the mages work for their merits too, already make their job easy. =P
