It's a French name. Or French-ish. Baw-stahn-yuhz-Oo-blee-yet. You would carry over the "X" to the next work in kind of a "Z" sound. French words often flow together that way.

This would be much easier if I'd just say these over vent or skype or something, lol.

I know a guy who would pronounce "Maze of Sha-zahk-ru" for Maze of Shakhrami... to this day we have never figured out how those two are remotely similar.

Wasn't there a thread around here that said how to pronounce all the zone names? I seem to attach Feba to it for some reason when I think about it...


And a better way of typing out the Oubliette is Boston-O Ob-lee-et. Not quite, but close enough.

Doors that require you to drag people away from what they are doing just do you can collect a piece of Af that mainly has parry on it, When you are in fact a mage. Well it's not the gear that bothers me it's the *&!@#$% ing doors!

Ha, funny you should bring that up ><. Last night in my LS 2 members played a mini joke on a 3rd member. They purchased airship tickets in Port Jeuno but didn’t take the airship. They told the 3rd guy to come and open the ‘secret door’ by the port jeuno AH as it can only be opened from the outside

So…after some minor convincing, he left the abyssea party and was looking all over the AH area for this ‘secret door’. When you’re down there if you type /target <playername>, they are pretty close and appear to be in the wall.

Eventually after he started getting angry, they were like “oooh, I got it, I went through the Arrival’s door”. Which in turn fumed him even more ><.

Abyssea weakness triggering that increases the drop rate/amount for AF seals for jobs you don't care about.

Only a little peeve though, I did eventually get 8 seals for the BLM headpiece.
