Yyg I’m gonna post this here so I don’t derail/troll (or whatever it's called) your other tread but…this…

As the title suggests, I'm looking for residents of Valefor to join me in a 4-5 man Seal Farming Static. Here are the specs:

I main-job SMN and NIN and have optimized both jobs. The jobs I'm looking to join up with are...

x1 BLU
x1 BRD
x1 BLM
x1 WHM

With that set-up... and me as NIN, we should be able to take out any NM in Abyssea save for a few toughies.

Ugggg…this is a huge pet peeve for me. Even though I have 3 of those listed jobs…it kills me inside when people shout for this.
I know the reasons blah blah blah grellow procs blah blah blah

But it’s just painful when I want Bst Pup Smn seals and I can only participate if I’m a Blu Brd Blm or Whm.

Now you (being a high Smn) may be requesting those jobs as the minimum, and would probably allow other jobs. But most shouts in Jeuno ONLY allow those jobs and it’s so aggravating.

I still like you though. But not Cleverness, he steals my Apkallu pops

So... you're not peeved at... me... just at... people in jeuno who only allow those jobs in? It's understandable. I'm happy that I have NIN so that I can participate more readily in these... and be accepted to help a little faster. I'm not too stressed about the jobs. All I'm asking is that each person have 1 of the above listed jobs. What they choose to come as is up to them... but if I'm going for productivity... those are the jobs I want. I understand going into this that the only job I'll ever be participating as will be NIN.

Question is…would you level Nin had you not gone AFK for hours and came back in the 70s?
Lets say that didnt happen. You wouldnt be able to join your own runs.

I see your point. I dealt with the <no thanks> a lot as a career SMN. If I were shouting in Jeuno for a group, I wouldn't be nearly as specific as I am here. In jeuno, I typically take what I can get and we just RUIN the mob we're fighting and settle for what we get. It makes the pops a lot faster and typically results in the same amount of seals/run as a group focusing on getting the yellow before they move on. In this static, I only specify because I'm going for reliable productivity.

Also... no... no I would never have leveled NIN in wildest dreams if it didnt happen on accident.

Dynamis shell canceled a run after sitting around for two hours and accumulating 9 members...because farming cities at 90 is hard yo.

I think it is time to go shopping for a new Dynamis shell.

Wow that's sad. You could farm cities with 9 at 75. It was challenging, but possible if you have a good puller.

Yeah we used to go with about 12 to sandy a few times and it was a breeze. the only struggle was the Smn NM (& group) by the west ron gate.

every group i've been in (shitty and awesome), thats the one spot that's always a struggle.

This is a little bit of a RL peeve and a little bit of an in game peeve... combined.

Being sick while tanking Iratham... sneezing... and opening my eyes to see that I'm dead. God... I hate that... I don't even know how I died. I had just finished casting Utsusemi: Ni... and I was at max health!!!

In other news my Dynamis shell continues working hard at digging its own grave by canceling another run. The shell leader's whereabouts are currently unknown. Still searching for a replacement shell to board as our own continues to sprout holes and run out of life boats.
