Peeve: People who form groups just so that they can leech. It doesn't bug me so much in something like Abyssea... because there are simply enough people to not really matter in the long run. It bugs me when someone forms a group for a specific drop item...let's call it Iga Seal: Head, shall we?

This happened to me this morning and it aggrivates the crap out of me. This person formed a group to go kill Blazing Eruca. I joined as NIN/DNC and there was a BLU/NIN, a BLM/WHM, a WAR/NIN and a SMN/BRD and the leader who was a 90WHM/BLM. I was under the impression that the WHM would... you know... HEAL. We all designated the seals that we wanted and headed out to the ??? to pop the NM. Upon arrival, the leader barked "Someone pop it" to which I said... "Trade me the pop item". There were none on the AH when I got there since the entire group had purchased them before leaving... or so I thought. The leader told me he didnt bring one.

Who organizes a group for an NM without at least having the damn item themselves? If he had made it clear in the shout that we were farming the items, I would have been fine... but as it was we only had 3 between all of us.

I let it go.. took one from someone else and we proceded to fight. The WHM.... DID.... NOTHING. He sat there in full AF3+1 and some AF3+2 gear and did absolutely nothing. I almost died if it werent for the BLM healing like crazy in between Yellow !! attempts, I would have been killed. If my EVA was capped, it wouldn't have been an issue, but it's not.

The WHM not only sat there and did nothing, but yelled when we started to die and occasionally threw a Cure IV at us. WTF is with that?!?

Once I got the 2 seals I wanted, I sent a /tell to the other 4 people besides the leader and explained my plans... and we all bailed.

Seriously.... if you're not going to do anything, uninstall the freaking game and go walk into traffic.

Pretty interesting…i've yet to see that happen. Casting cure iv no less eh? I haven’t been a 90whm for that long (wont lie…I aby burned it) but isn’t IV like…the worst one to cast?

I have setup a few runs where I don’t allow people to lot a certain item. But normally it’s a Boss and people are more than happy with getting the clear and/or Atma. And again, I only lock out 1 item for me and the rest is free lot. I also make sure I have the pop item. Hopefully that’s not as bad lol. And yes, I do participate.

I’ve seen sold a few +2 items to a BLM who was too lazy to help. He basically sat outside the maw and just zoned in and lotted after his item dropped. I guess I didn’t mind so much since he paid but still…would have been nice if he at least helped proc or even speed up the kills.

The leader of my social LS keeps chasing people out of the shell over petty personal vendettas that the rest of us don't know, understand or care about. He's chased out at least four decent people in the last year just because at some point he had some sort of disagreement with them. Or at least that's all I've been able to figure out without stirring up more trouble. He's a nice enough guy, but every time he's chased someone out of the shell it makes me uneasy. Don't get me wrong, I love my shell, but I just wish the leader wouldn't keep ousting people when the only person who has an issue with them is him.

Oh, also Feet emph farming. Like for the actual feet. Went to Aby-Mis coast to get Bst for a friend. We went Bst & Pup (which turned out to be great for getting TEs) and destroyed Colobri.

We we’re there 2-3 hours and it pretty rained Pld and Drk feet. Maybe even a few Rngs but that’s it. Luckily, as we were about to call it quits, a different party got bst and offered it to him, but still…I haven’t seen much difference in drop rates.

Peeve: People who don't have a single KI for any NM in Abyssea... or people who don't realize that they have 3/4 of the KI for the T. Canyon Mega Boss only after we spent 2 hours farming 3 of the KI already.

I mean I havent even tried to collect KI and I know I have about 15-20 of them in my list... I always double-check to see what KI are needed for a fight before I go... just in case I could be more help than originally anticipated.
