The gorramn non-English speaking Buttersheep in my party tongiht. The dude kept making emoticon faces at us all night long. The only thing I could figure was that he was displeased that we allowed him to drop below 100% HP (it wasn't even yellow).

This guy was pretty worthless, especially considering how awesome the tank he replaced was. There was this awesome ninja who actually provoked and coordinated a skillchain with our Samurai which I managed to do a magic burst or two off of, but nooo....We have to have shitty Buttersheep who makes faces at us all night long and be passive aggressive rather than tell us what the hell he's so displeased about.

THe language barrier is not an excuse. If you can't articulate your displeasure in a manner that allows us to correct it then you shut your whore mouth and suffer in silence.

Clicking on the holiday Smilebringer NPC in Bastok kind of froze up my system, but she finally responded (and I was able to move) after about a minute. I clicked on the Smilebringer NPC in Sandy & couldn't do anything but type. After about 10 minutes, I gave up & force-DC'ed. Annoying.

Peeve: People who are better geared/higer leveled than me and still have NO FRIGGEN CLUE how to play their job.

Case in point:

This morning I had 3 hours before I had to leave for work... so kicked off a Vunk (A) Party to take on PUKs at G-13 near Conflux #06. The alliance consisted of. Party 1 consisted of DD... 3 SAM, 1 NIN, 1 RNG and a kick ass BLU. Party 2 was a hodgepodge of everything... 2 PUP, 1 BLU, 2 MNK and I think a BLM near the end. The last party was 2 SMN, 1 RDM, 1 SCH, 1 WHM and another BLM.

What we're going to focus on for this little /rant are the 2 SMN. I was one of them... and the builder of the Alliance. I'm level 82, Geared with YYR, FAY Crozier and mostly just AF1 Gear (No +1). I had Atma of the Lion on (not awsome.. but the tripple attack was cool). I was consistantly healing, using Pred Claws and keeping my PT hasted with Grauda the entire time. I was backup raising and trying to juggle the politics of the party (invites/drops/keys/counting lights/assists/etc...).

The other SMN is level 90, geared with almost all Caller's gear +1... Odin and a shit-ton of awsome stuff. I was under the impression I was going to be shown up.... hard. I was wrong.

She summoned Carby right off the bat and started to pull (not what I told her to do) and pull fast. For an AWSOME party where everyone know what to do right away... her pulling would have been great. For our party... it wiped us... twice. No matter what i did... I couldn't get her to stop pulling. We could handle as much as 3 PUKs at a time... she was making sure we had around 6 at a time.

After an hour of wanting to kill her... she sat back... summoned Fenrir... on Lightsday... and started to Eclipse Bite once every 10 minutes.

How does someone make it to lvl 90 and get that well geared and sill have no friggen clue what they're doing?

I see this all the time with SAM and DNC. I've seen many a relic GK on someone who doesn't have the first clue about how to play SAM as good as they should.

Two words:

Astral Burn.

SMNs who used Astral burn to gain even so much as 1 level should have their character's deleted.

If you don't learn to use your SMN effectively... you should recieve 100 lashes across the bellybutton with a wet noodle. This practice should be manditory.

Level like everyone else. Learn like everyone else. Grind like everyone else. Learn what your Avatars are capable of... and use them appropriately.

Now now, not everyone who leveled SMN that way doesn't know what they're doing. Some are just stupid as a box of shit. I had very little trouble with my SMN even after burning it from 37-75. But it's true that a lot of idiots gained their levels that way. Generally, though, I was just being an ass-tard in that last post.

As for gear, it's a well-known fact that the stupidest, most gimp, most idiotic, most pathetic, wastes of space always get good drops before anyone else.
