There is no "fulltiming" when it comes to RDM.

I think he meant in terms of spellcasting, but yeah... Fulltiming anything on RDM strikes me as the height of folly.

Actually, I think people only dislike bad Red Mages.

For me, this can also translate to, stop making the rest of us look bad Red Mages. And that applies to both front-liners and back-liners.

People make you come on all the time. That's why/when I dislike it.

And a regular /sea of the game at any time will always result in RDMs being the most abundant job currently only, with BLM only coming up ahead maybe one day a week. Yeah yeah, unique snowflake etc. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Knowing that every mother and their donkey is a RDM is a huge turnoff.

Also incredibly skeptical of this person because they told me I should more or less fulltime Warlock's Tabbard once I got it. No thanks, I'll wear Baron's Saio for the +INT for nuking rather than the +Enfeebling WHICH DOES NOTHING FOR ME WHEN I'M NUKING!

No reason not to gear it properly when it's my main job. Half-assed RDMing makes me want to punch kittens.

Personally, I still find it absolutely amazing that SE did not make the Abyssea NMs all OMGWTFLOLPWNEDresistent to enfeebles. Just soloed Hexenpilz the other day and Gravity absolutely rapes him. Slow and even Paralyze land on most other NMs as well.

My linkshell just did the Mammet fight for CoP. I didn't even get out of the cutscene before they'd finished it and got booted straight into the next cutscene. Removing the level caps for CoP was the dumbest idea ever.

I pretty much solo’d for a friend on bst…no items/meds.
It was kinda nice not having to do it 5 times in a row…but it was also rather depressing

I was FoV slumming in Zitah yesterday. Page 5 is awesome easy for 60-62. Nothing I couldn't solo, really, but it's nice to have the extra pair of fists... or whatever those are.

So I run up to a coeurl and hit Deploy. Ummm... where is he? Then I notice that his HP bar has vanished, meaning he's run out of range. Retrieve! Retrieve! Retrieve?

Apparently there's a spot around (E-8) that fucks up pet pathing, and the he runs away until the battle is over. I thought he was probably runing around in the loop to the north, but at least one time I saw him return from the east, so WTF?
