I could lead a party, but I didn't like being the "leader", because that's who everybody complained to, regardless of whether or not they had legitimate reasons to complain. I could easily say these jobs, these subs, this zone, these enemies, and this camp. I could even come up with alternates. I just didn't want to be bitched at.

Planning and overhauling gearsets.

Why oh why am I trying to put together a melee RDM gearset for soloing as RDM/BLU? This can only end in tears.

Aren't you only mid-50's? Personally I didn't even bother with melee gear (and subs) until I hit 75. Keeping up to date with partying gear was more then enough.for me. Left me with a lot less gear waiting to sell as I out grew it.

Yup, still only 54. Thing is, I'm really stubborn and I've got it set in my head that I'm going to attempt to melee Dark Spark solo. It's going to end horribly but doing it is a matter of principle at this point.

To me it was always a hassle no matter what role I took as the leader. People would complain and whine to me about stupid shit. Simply put, I just didn't like leading. I wanted to be simply invited to a party.

I also wouldn't really complain about not getting invites. I'd do my own thing, if I got invited, great, if not, well, there was always the next day. Some people just don't enjoy leading. I wouldn't really fault them for that.

I agree. Could I make and successfully lead a party? Yes. Do I want to? No. Do I bitch about not being invited to partys? Nope, I just go do what I can and wait. Everyones got their own way of dealing with it so there isn't one simple answer for everyone.

I actually like leading the party. Decide where to go, who does what (If they have multiple jobs), and what events to do. I even enjoy setting up events for the linkshells(Well, I used to until I quit anyways.). In WoW(Yes, WoW I started again lol), when in random dungeons, I played as hunter and now I hate it due to no one actually looking up to me for leadership, and now I changed to pally, and everyone looks up to me as the leader, and I actually am the trailblazer/leader for the dungeons which I find interesting.

None on the AH, the price has been steadily increasing over the past two weeks to more than double what it used to be with 100%+ margin for a crafter, and the people who bought them aren't selling them back for whatever stupid reason. (Only one name on both sides of the last 25.) That's the only use for the stupid thing, and you don't need to keep it, unless you want to turn in more subligars and have some reason to believe she's going to ask for it again, so why not sell it back, especially with the price going up?

I can understand the increased demand. I can not understand 24 people over the past two weeks just keeping it.

Maybe everyone on your server is having the crazy idea I had and is using it on their RDM MND build instead of fulltiming Baron's Saio?

Actually the NM drop has been off the AH for a couple of days too.

Mostly it's just people doing "new" stuff after an update and the AH goes to hell, combined with everyone wanting to do subligar runs now that it's easy. I've got other stuff I'm trying to sell that is all constipated from zero transactions over the past couple of days.

Oh yeah, SE, brilliant way to add 75+ mobs to "out of the way" corners of CoP areas.

One of the Promy-Dem map quest ??? pop areas is at L-9. BEHIND A BUNCH OF 75+ EMPTY THAT WANDER ALL THE WAY TO THE EDGES

Before I got killed, I was able to see that the ??? was indeed there. And the whole area around the ??? is crawling with 2-name Empty mobs.

Gonna try hanging around to see if they wander away long enough to get up, but I doubt it.

EDIT: the "Batshit Insane" /THF Flee method suggested for part of CoP 8-3 worked. And I'm still considering a sacrifice/RR3 method for the Ru'Hmet map. Three of the pop points are behind doors guarded by pots. Diaga and pull them away from their post should depop them for long enough.

Fuck that! Fuck it with a rusty wooden spoon. Getting maps is already a pain in the ass but then they have to go and add that sort of nonsense to it? No...just no.

Remember the map spawn point is random through the third and forth floors. There is a possibility that one of the spawn points is in a dangerous area but most likely it isn't. It's seriously not that much of an issue.

The one I saw doing CoP chapter 1 was in a completely safe place.

It's random, but it does not move until it's been popped. This means that a dangerous/difficult area is more likely to contain what you are looking for, same as with some of the treasure coffer spawns. Anyhow, using Flee worked.
