My parents continuing to call me with questions about FFXI, even though I haven't played in a year, and shouldn't still be their go-to guy for informations.

That said, I can usually still give them the right answer. :/

Oh, and not being able to play (PC and PS2 died, 360 was sold). Does that count as a peeve? Because despite some of the recent changes, I have to admit I'd like to play.

I was kind of good with 75 being the last level, is all. There are some subjobs that I had hoped never to have to break out again. Otherwise, I'm cool with most everything.

Took two friends out to Giddeus to make an attempt at Creeping Doom. I think this was actually my first real BCNM that wasn't mission related. We wiped horribly and I'm fairly certain it was largely my fault.

I can't tell if I've gotten rusty on mage duties or if I'm just not cut out for it anymore.

The fact that I bought this game Friday night and couldn't play over the weekend because I bank through a bank (8th largest in the world BTW) that doesn't deal with Mastercards "Mastercode" or Visas "Verified by Visa". It gets worse. I called today to get my card entered in by phone, which worked and was pretty quick. However today is update day, meaning I can't get the hours of update started until after the server update is complete. I still may not be playing until Tuesday if it keeps up like this. Never bought a game and been unable to even get into it until 3 days after purchase...

Enormous updates that take forever just to get them started.

Having to explain limit points mode to someone with 11 jobs at 75... while in a zone with 60+ people causing PS2 input lag. -.-

Well the saga continues....

I lost my log in crap so when my computer went to hell and I built a new one, I couldn't log in. That was right around the time I got an email from SE stating my account might have been compromised. So after 2 1/2 hours on the damn phone, I finally was told that my account hasn't been changed in the least so it should be perfectly fine. Then they say within the hour they'll get my new password to me.....over 2 days later it comes. I log in ONCE, everything is fine and I do a little bit in game and log out. Several days later I decide to log in again and guess what!? I can't. The next day I get a letter in the mail stating that my account may be compromised and that my credit card is these last 4 digits and they weren't my last 4 digits. Well when I get a chance to call its update day and they can't help me on update day.......why? Seriously....don't give me some generic reason. So later today I need to get back on the horn and try and get this shit straightened out. I'm positive now that my account is compromised and I'll have to get it restored....and that can take months.

So if you are going to complain about long updating, I'll switch places with you anyday!! /sigh

When wondering why I don't get invited to BST for things (yes, this again), a LS member said he didn't like pet jobs because he doesn't trust AI controlled pets. Once again, ignorance of how the job works rears its ugly head.

BST pets aren't AI-controlled...at...all. The BST has almost full control of what the pet does, short of being attacked by AoE or other mobs and changing targets. But the main target, whether to attack or not, what abilities to use, they are all done at my command.

Gambling tables in Jeuno that set themselves up on top of the auction house where I like to idle and watch the sunset.

I /blist any "casinos" on first sight.

Unfortunately that's how I also know that the blist fliters don't apply until a moment after you zone out of your mog house. I guess that's my peeve here.
