I've had that happen to me a few times. I'd be sitting there doing my job be it Drk, Rdm, Whm, Nin, and I'd say "{Time remaining} 30 {Minute}s. Theyd say ok, and we continue. At 10 mins left, Id say I have 10 mins left. Then at the end, I say lost boss, but they keep pulling. And I'd remind them 3 times, then I'd just get pissed and D/C because they wont stop pulling.

Why fake a D/C. Just use a warp item. You told them you were leaving. If they can't handle what they pulled without you, when you have given them so much warning, it's not your fault. And next time, they might listen when someone lets them know they are planning to leave.

Pretty sure anyone whose leveled NIN to 37 has had that happen. I leveled it to 37, tell the party I have 20 minutes left. I could have said 20 minutes left before I dinged to just be out, cause I dont need a buffer for a job that's never going to be my main job, but I wanted to be nice since the WHM was close to 37 themselves, and I remember how much I HATED capping WHM as my sub cause of the parties in that level range. They ding, I say last boss, they keep pulling after that. I tell the guy in a tell to warp outl, he warps out and I 2hr.

I have waited for some people to level up when I'm not in a rush. Usually if I'm not in a rush I'll tell them I want to log in 30 mins. after the 30 mins I see if anyone is close to leveling ((Less than 2k)). Well, I usually get the people that are honest and say 1.5k or 700 or something like that. We kill a few things, they level and the party disbands. Well, every once in a while you get people that lie about their tnl. They say they are at 2k, and I'd say ok, 2k exp and we disband. We get about 3k exp, and they still havent leveled, then when I say that the person lied, and go to log out, the person says "Oh wait... I meant 4k. Please stay!"

I just finish logging out anyways. Cant stand people who lie like that. We should get an <experiance> thing so it shows something like 11,582/12,800 Exp. so when you ask them for their TNL, they cant really lie, and have no reason to not put the <Exp> thing in.

I hated when I'd stay for one person to level, like for 2k exp, then as soon as that person dings, someone else is like, "Oh, I'm only 600 tnl! Stay!"

I would have probably agreed if you'd said it earlier, but fuck, when you're tired of exping and you look forward to one person dinging so you can leave, it's pretty fucking disheartening to have to stay another three fights for even one more person, especially if you're tired in RL as well as tired of exping.

I hope that made some sense, but yeah, it would always annoy me when someone else would announce they were close when you already agreed to stay a little while longer for someone else.

I tend to just leave altogether. I've had parties literally disband on me at ~1k tnl so fuck that. Unless I'm playing RDM, I tend to make my own parties, so if I feel like leaving soon I'll just ask everyone for their tnl and if noone is close, /warp. The WHM was the exception because, again, leveling WHM to 37 for me was one of the most annoying things ever with all the retards wanting to go Garliage Shitadel and fighting 5 other parties for mobs. I don't even wanna talk about the parties that camp way in, ON TOP of a beetle spawn. Yes, that's going to work out perfectly.

Garliage should seriously be its own thread, between parties/coffers/etc that place must have pissed off almost every player throughout this games lifetime.

Thats why we call it garbage shittyhell lol. I need to finish out /whm, not looking forward to it. I usually just do 1 level at a time and disband, I can only take so much.

Yeah I might end up doing that, or besieges. Nin will be easy, not enjoyable, but easy, I got all 10 charges on the Anni Ring just for Nin.

Pet peeve of the night: Trying to learn how to play a new job while there's a PL next to the party.

The first half of the night was fine with me on White Mage. I wasn't the best, but I was learning and keeping the party alive at the same time.

About halfway through some folks drag in a PL so we head to Pugils. This guy makes it damn near impossible for me to cure the party using my own spells so I just sit there seeing how many times I can rip hate off the tank/or the PL using my enfeebles.

Also: A party with 3-4 people who can Provoke and there is no First Voke...It's pretty sad when the White Mage is pulling hate with Dia.

That happened to me on my RDM, Whm, and Dnc. On my Dnc I just sat there and meleed/WS.

My Whm, I sat there and just went AFK, and played my PS3 lol. Every so often I'd enfeeble/nuke, then go back tot he game.

On my Rdm, I meleed, then got yelled at as I was "feeding the mob Tp" Well... WHAT THE HELL WAS i SUPPOSED TO FUCKEN DO!?! SIT THERE AND BE BORED, AND GET YELLED AT FOR NOT DOING ANYTHING AS THE PL WAS DOING EVERYTHING!?!?! I HATE pls. The make the game boring and they play the game for you.
