New Pet Peeve....

I just hit lvl 30 Drk last night. I am /thf on it for Sneak Attack to deal a little extra damage with my Sould Eater, and Slice (Until I hit 33 for Night Mare Scythe). The party set up was as: Pld/War, Thf/Nin, Rdm/Rdm. Rdm/Whm, Pup/War (Was actually out damaging me even with me using attack food), and Drk/Thf (me) The Pld wasn;t having any issues holding hate, so I stayed as /Thf. Upon reacing lvl 30, the Thf, kept using SATA on ME at the beggining of the fight, Effing up my Soul Eater, Sneak Attack, Last Resort, and Slice combo. I only got it off effectivly once (And it hit for nealry 250 dmg O.o; ). All the other times. I was tanking from just auto attacking, and haveing SATA used on me. I was geard defensivly (Thank God), so I was able to actually take a few hits before the Pld was able to pull hate back.

I kept telling the Thf to use Trick Attack on the Pld, but he never did. Only did it to me. At the last few fights, he started to do Trick Attack on me still, but was at the end, but was still effing up my Combo. >.<

<Edit> I was using my combo to kill the monster, I wasn't doing it near the beggining of the fight. Only when the monster was at about 1/5 Hp left. Other times I just used SA, or SA + Slice esp when the other 2 wherent up.

Ever since a few days ago where I decided to take my first brave attempt at Xarcabard [S], after hearing all sorts of nightmarish testimony about it, I have a new pet peeve:

I'm really quite new to the game, but one thing that really annoys me, are people that pick on the newbies.

I mean, I'm 100% sure that at least 90% of people start off as retards in FFXI, and we all learn how to play by receiving parties, right?

This is near impossible when those annoying people decide to kick those newbies out.

Kimani: Not many everyone is like that. You probably just run into the people who are asses. I have run into a few of them as well. People that yell at you for Mbing off a skill chain as Drk, even though you always deal atleast 50+ damage as a MB. How long have you been playing for? Did you just start the game like a week or so ago? You will run into people who are nice, and will help you out with the game as you play.

What were you doing when you were kicked? Did the party member give you instructions which you weren't following or did not understand?

When I started out, people were generally encouraging and supportive, and many people gave me helpful advices, in and out of party. Hard to believe people would intentionally pick on newbies.

It has not happened to me, I see it happen to people in my parties. Once the leader accidentally kicked me, then sent me a tell saying " sorry, I meant to kick this pathetic paladin".

I ended up leaving the party and reforming another, that included the "pathetic paladin".

I have no problem when people politely correct my/ others mistakes, but being yelled at, then kicked is not OK.

I am not that new, I started about six months ago. And I have met amazing people on here, don't get me wrong.

I am not that new, I started about six months ago. And I have met amazing people on here, don't get me wrong.

There is just that small number of players, that need to be kicked in their ass.

Well. Usually people who have just started might run into people who are asses, and will bother the about their "gimp" gear, even though its all they can afford, or kick them because they made a newbie mistake. I wasn't sure if you where playing for that long so thats why I had asked.

There are a good amount of people that do need a swift kick in their ass, and then some. I have met a few people who I wish I could just strangle through the monitor.

There are people who will make fun of your gear even if its up to date, and its above "decent" for your current job. I had issues with Acc on Ninja so I equipped Royal Squires Mufflers (+2 ACC), and I was being yelled at for not having O-Kotes, even though they lower your Eva, and thats killer for a ninja.
