This has probably been brought up before, but this happened to me last night:

Friend dies in the lower section of Kuftal Tunnel camping that Manta that drops angel skin and dies.

Friend begs for a raise while I'm in crafting because he'll delevel and he wants to save his level to finish camping.

Because it's a friend, I gladly drop what I'm doing and change jobs and teleport.

Get out to Kuftal, zone in... start heading that way.......... and he messages me that someone gave him a raise.

I HAAATE THAAAAT. When I use to have a 75 WHM, I'd get spammed tells to Raise ppl.... cuz they wanted R3. I'd get out there and find out they already got a R1.

I dont see why blue mage doesnt get more party invites, as a job it rocks and even without a brd rdm etc I've partied successfully on both crawlers and puks (both have no mp to drain) and done my fair share of the damage. I've got a full set of Hmp gear so I only need 1-2 ticks to get enough mp for the next fight long as I dont spam my ass off like some blue mages do. I also refuse to do the Bludgeon headbutt spam like a lot of blue mages think is ok at whatever level.

I feel your frustration because I've been there done that. I did alot of campaigning between 60-70 BLU, and formed alot of parties myself.

I think some people don't invite BLU's as often for a couple of reasons:
1) Alot of people are totally ignorant of how good of a DD the job is, and so when they are filling DD slots they pick other DDs. Hell, some people don't even realize BLU is a DD job.
2) Some BLUs simply don't play the job well, and thus give BLU a bad reputation. They either use the wrong sub, or use the wrong spells, or haven't bothered to go learn the most important spells, or they have bad gear, or they don't know how to self-skillchain or CASA, or they gimp themselves by not having the right spells set to give them the job traits they need, etc.

Don't give up on BLU. You're so close to 75 and the job rocks even more at 75. GL

I want the damn warp taru back already. And don't tell me to "go farm a key" because I don't exp in AU.

Fairy eventually did get the candy back the other day, but so far the warp taru still isn't back. And there are only three prisoners left. From the items I didn't see in Besieged yesterday, I'm guessing it's the warp taru, choco lady, and Chochoroon.

And I missed the first Besieged because it was a level 1. I saw it at level 1 and thought "oh yeah, that means it'll be ready in 4 or 5 hours". Except that I forgot they have to slowly get stronger and stronger. I got to the second one while it was already in progress, but it didn't last long. I didn't even get to skill up dark or elemental magic by a full point. {Besieged} {Battle} {Too Weak}. And I hear that servers have actually lost the candy in level 1 battles?

IMHO, having the warp taru missing for 48 hours was a major factor in Fairy losing the candy early this week.

Or do you just RDM in Besiged and lolconvert?

I find that people rarely bother to go to beseiged battles that are below Lv8.

The Taru that sells the JA dices being constantly gone when I need him is probably why my Corsair is going to be stuck at Lv40 for the forseeable future. It's a major pain in the rear since I need my Roouge and Warlock Dice and every time I have the money for those things and a stack of bullet pouches he's been kidnapped or a beseiged is taking place and when it's over he's gone

I'm sorry, Convert is one of my JAs, and incredibly useful. Nothing lol about it.

Not sure what to tell you about Wizard Drink. Manage your MP better? Or go rescue the NPC?

And because if you use the free one, the pay one gets mad and won't warp you for a few days. Plus, the free one can't warp you to your hometown.
