new pet peeve now that I've ventured into the past: insane aggro in Merip Mountains {S}. You cannot outrun anything, especially gobs. And why must Gnats hover over dead bodies? I mean really...

I don't even know where to begin. Nubz, basically. And 99% of the pop are nubz. I've played one of each type of class to level cap, tank, DD, heals, buffs, whatever. I've played it. And it is so rare to party with anyone who even comes close to my level a skill. When someone is even decent, I'll let them know. Guess what, I rarely get that opportunity. Come on, the game has been out HOW LONG and everyone is still running around like they bought their character.

So in other words, you're a level 25 paladin, 50 black mage, and 70 white mage and you've been in shitty partys?

You're projecting. I already stated that I had one of each at LEVEL CAP. L2Read, son.

I haven't actually gotten any cuz the people who don't know they won't help getting obi, earrings, and gorgets still lot on em all. Just seems like every "shark" we kill drops HQ and barely NQ. Torques? Idk 'bout them. I still have yet to fully look into what all you can get at {sea}. Proly couldn't afford one... saving currently for Azoth. Slow-ga.

Well... cuz it's only natural? Don't get me wrong I hate the lil {bastard sword}s. But it does make sense to me for flies to hover over a corpse. I had never come across em before and got aggro'd on my way to the campaign battle in Meriphitaud (s), thought I might be able to take it but it totally pwn'd me. Might have been before I had Ni and {Fan Dance}... but they hit ya like a mac truck. Luckily enough I think I ended up getting tractor'd by a passer by... lucky me.

Here's one that really irked me...

When I was leveling WHM, I was in a party where we were getting something like 15k per hour. I think we were level 65'ish. I needed to go, so I started looking for a rep. There was only one healer LFP, and he was exactly at the level I needed. So I asked him to rep me. He asked me what the party makeup was. I don't remember exactly, but I remember it was a standard party...healer, tank, refresher and a few DD's. He said "no thanks". I said, "why not? it's a good party. We're getting about 15k per hour". He said, "Sorry to burst your bubble, but 15k per hour is pretty average". I said, "yea, but it's better than standing in Whitegate LFP". And that was about the end of it. I finally found another rep. Sure enough 30 minutes later, there he was still LFP in Whitegate.

Hehe. Greedy WHM got pwnd. Steady 15k exp sure beats twice that xp when you only get it a little bit at a time.

I don't care how good the exp is, as long as the party is good, and we are making progress towards our levels. Hell, I've had very slow parties, but they where the most fun. Talking, and fooling with skill chains and such. I don't care about the exp as long as the party is fun, and we are making progress to our levels.

I've asked people to join parties that seem like they'd be the worst party ever, but then again, the exp is great. Yet, the people that I try to get to join the party, REFUSE to join it, because they think it sucks, and when I tell them we are getting like 20-25k/hour they say that I lied, because of the job combinations. People sterio typeing with jobs, and suchs, just shows how much people suck, esp when they don't want to try something that is "odd, but works better than most".

My other pet peeve... Utsusemi: Ni. 0/3 (Royal Jelly. No Ni, or Ring either.) on the drop, and the orbs are hard to get when you don't have many people willing to farm them with you. Its also cheaper than the Ichi scroll (On my server).

I guess I gotta try again later... Any tips? lol

I duo'd this BCNM with a partner and we went 2/6 or somewhere around there. One Ni scroll and one Archer's ring. I played DRG/BLU and she was DNC/NIN. We leveled those jobs in a duo up to 60 so we had a ton of seals laying around :p

I'm forcing my 60Drg buddy to do this ASAP... I'd seen a testimony written about using the DNC "gravity" ability but never read/found an elaboration on the tactic. I'd forgotten about it til you just reminded me... . . .

I hate people who discriminate like that too. Once i was in a pt as BLU and we needed a tank. I invited a NIN to tank for us and he asked what the setup was. He immediately declined to tank because one of our PT members was a PUP...........saying the job is gimp and would kill our exp. I ended up tanking as BLU/WAR (gogo Cocoon + Metal Body!) and we raked in the exp like you wouldnt believe.

As far as the Royal Jelly BCNM, just go kill some easy prey mobs, the seals will drop fast enough on their own. The drop rate aint great, but it will eventually drop, just keep at it.
