I haven't seen shihei toolbags lower in price in at least a year. Steady 30-35k for a stack of toolbags, never ever changes.

Pet peeve? My internet kicked me last night - again - and of course Brighthouse claims there is absolutely nothing wrong with my connection (as they ALWAYS do, every time I call them), when I got back 5 minutes later they'd entered Limbus already and I basically wasted 15k, which I know will get used next time we enter but Jesus, impatient people. So they were down a WHM, and I would have figured they'd wait since I was one of only two WHMs for Ultima, and I spent 5 frantic minutes trying to get back on only for them to have entered without me. Even after I texted someone to let them know I would be back ASAP.

Fucking pissed me off. And then when I logged back in and apologized for my connection, people were making fun of me, saying it was a "user error" and that's why I was having trouble with the ISP. I got so angry I told them they were being dicks and I logged off. Fucking christ people, I'm already pissed off about my shitty net, why do you gotta piss me off further? Usually I can dish it out and take it like anyone else, but seriously when I'm already pissy why would you want to further incur the wrath of a bitchy woman?

Yes there, I said it, I'm bitchy! And why shouldn't I be? I pay money for my internet to work all the time, I call those noobs at tech support and practically offer to fellate them for them to come over and FIX my SHIT, and they continue to tell me there's no problem. Obviously, dipshit, I'm not connected, there's a problem. And it happens all the time. Then to further be irritated because no one could be bothered to wait for me, and then be made fun of for something that isn't even my fault, that sent me right over the edge. Fuck.

But ya, whenever I'm not in the mood for teasing/harassing/etc I just plain state it in ls. "Listen I've had a really f**king bad day..." Whenever I use the F word they know somethings up. LOL Some people just take that shit too far. They know you are cranky, they want to get under your skin, and they just keep pushing and pushing and pushing.... I can't take off my pearl or log during events for stuff like that being a leader (have to lead by example and all that shit) but I can tell them to BACK THE F**K OFF! lol (If they had any common sense I wouldn't have to!)

W. Altepa Desert FoV pg 1... Cactuars as EP on page one who take my full HP SAM down to 0 with one "1000 Needle". What ass-munch {bastard sword} came up with that conclustion. So after the first death, while I was resting in where I thought was a safe spot another freakin' one aggro's me to finish my trip back to Lvl 53.

RMTs are just insane, aren't they? I logged in the other day and about a minute later received a /tell from one...

How's this for an annoyance? I can't decide what job to focus on next! I'd like to do something more DD-oriented, but it's something of a tossup between RNG, DRG, and SAM ... and if it's SAM, I'm not sure how I'd want to set up.

Pretty sure they did, but I wasn't online to know for sure. It was probably more messy than usual, but oh well, that's not my problem.

And yeah, sometimes they just go too far, I take a lot of shit on a daily basis but seriously I was ready to reach through my ethernet cable and strangle both the fuckers at Brighthouse and half the linkshell.

Seriously, I was ready to buy a very heavy machine gun and march to the fucking headquarters at Brighthouse. I am so sick of their fucking shit! Okay gonna stop this now before I get pissed off again. I'm in class now (on break) so I'm sure the net is working fine, but when I get home it'll be all like, "NOPE LOL!!!111!"

If your net connection craps out at about the same time each day for a moment your ISP may be correct in saying there is nothing wrong.

When I had DSL, my internet would become unreliable between 5-11pm. Higher traffic in those hours made my connection shit. None of the DSL providers have a hub near my house so add that on top and I have nothing too nice to say about DSL in my area. Since I've changed to cable, I haven't had drop off issues.

There is a 99.9% chance I might be wrong, but....It might be possible that your modem is dying. I know for awhile I would hit incredible lag spikes with my Cable and sometimes my net would just go out and not be able to reconnec for like 20 mins. Eventually I somehow figured that it might be the modem and just happened I was right. I had a D-Link and I replaced it with a Motorola, the one that is supposed to be Comcast recommended. I called it in and it fired right up, I haven't had a problem since.

But since I got WW above the last HQ tier for status bolts, and then made some bolt heads while working on my Alchemy sub craft I decided to do some Bolt making. I only know that 60k was the average starting about 3 weeks ago. It's possible multiple WoodWorkers found out at the same time and started crafting them, hard to know. I have been slowly selling some of my single quivers for 5k each, so technically I am still selling them for 60k a stack.

Now that you mention it, separate bloody bolts (Stacks of 99) sell between 3.8-4k, so technically a stack of 12 could equal 48k minus AH fees. Which is still 11k more than 12 quivers. Never really checked on how much single quivers cost but it should be pretty close to the same. I used to do single bolt stacks back before I passed the 3rd tier on woodworking. Its just annoying because that market is a melee , either they all sell or none sell at all because you got undercutted overnight.

Oh! So you're renting the modem then. Yeah they should definently come out and try a new one. I know I was getting about 6-8 MBps when I would check the modem on dslreports, but when I started having problems it was down to about 3-5 MBps.

If their service is worse than SE's then this is Blasphemy! This is Madness! Nobody should have shave worse service than SE.

I thought I had a modem issue once and the guy came out but insisted that wasn't the problem and refused to replace it. The next day I unplugged the modem, drove down to their offices, plunked it down, and said "I've had enough. Either replace this modem with one that works correctly or I'm canceling my service and going to advise my family and friends to do so too." Bada Boom Bada Bing I had a new modem. Of course, it wasn't the modem just deplorable DSL service.

Had issues with my connection the other day and I had this technical support rep swearing up and down that something in my PC was preventing the internet from getting through.

I looked at my network card - blinking light.
I looked at my cable modem - cable light wasn't blinking no matter how many times I went to reset it.

I asked if the local TWC location had any new modems. They said yes, but that I should schedule to have a technician to look at my PC. No one is going to look at this PC, I've been through that before. So I went to the TWC at the mall and exchanged modems.

Viola! Internet working again.

Stupid technical support.

I have a paralyzing fear of having to reload FFXI or load FFXI onto another computer. For some reason, whenever I have to update, I get a message every 5-30 minutes (yes, that range is that much) saying I'm having connection issues. That results in me having to Retry with it going through the whole ridiculous scanning-for-files routine which can take up to 10 minutes with a full reload. But to say I have connection issues is just dead wrong. In fact, of my LS, people complain about d/cing and R0s so much I swear I must have the best connection in the LS.

As others have said, Tech Support wasn't a whole lot of help. It's all my routers fault apparently.
