Sandworm is 20-25 uhg ~.~ I seriously hate it when it pops in a Guivre zone. Guirve sucks hard. Also There has been pops where a second popped in the same window, and it too can be hq or normal. Though from what we've seen it seems like the second one acts pop every other almost. Still need more info before i'm sure of it.

As for Dark Ixion, omg its cake I just hate when we gotta go against the two rival shells. Almost guarenteed they'll scare it if we're ready to claim. I more hate camping DiX over SW, but love fighting them the other way around, unless its a KA sw, just cause I want that damn body piece for Neko -_-

Just cause I'm bored enough now, I'm making a map with pop locations for them based on where I've seen it and a rough estimate when other ls members found/claim them.

So far I got Grauberg [S] down to a science for Dark Ixion, Rolanberry and Bata on Sandworm is getting there. One LS member got Fort K down on Dix, and we pretty much know the spot for West Saru for both hnms.

Its just waiting for the pop I hate or when I'm scouting with lvl1 /rng yay got it, now to job change after claim! Hate, waiting. That I do.

I remember my first and only encounter with Ixion.

I was a fairly low level job making some random run and I came over a bluff. I saw it from pretty far away and took just a couple steps closer... just a couple.

"Wow, what a cool looking...." >BLORT!!!!< "WTF?!?!?!? I'm DEAD !!!!!"

It did some AoE and I was fodder ... as I lay there taste-testing the soil, the throngs of people (6parties) started popping onto my screen. Took em a while to see my corpse but they finally raised me.

Fun times!!

I can tell you how fail they were if you know what color their pearl was!

Got one LS on Hades that seriously takes months to kill Ixion. We try not to hate, but fuck man, we're tired of babysitting them. If they're gonna wipe, can they PLEASE not take a day to do so, so we can go back to doing something else? The other linkshells have gotten pretty good with it, but man, if the one shell claims, it's up forever. We'll have one person volunteer to get ToD usually, but you could give birth in the time that it takes this ls to kill it. Like I said, we try not to hate, but it's really hard when you're waiting four hours for a ToD, watching all of their tanks die in some sort of ritual tank death rotation and wondering why in the fuck they haven't just wiped yet.

Innocent bystanders are an unfortunate byproduct of Ixion. I got knocked off my chocobo - and killed - by Lightning Spear once when I was innocently riding by it. Ixion doesn't discriminate, and fucker hits hard to boot.

Ya my ls has 35 members and about 2/3's are active. We are lucky if there are 10 people on that are NOT afk. Then sending people out to camp Sandworm and Ix is a pain because you hope the right people with the right jobs are on. My son is currently leveling bst to help out with this.

I remember one time in particular when a friend in a competing ls sent me a /t and said they were going to West Ron (s) cause Sandworm was up. He was there and several of his ls members were too. I was running around the zone on whm like a mad woman trying to find it because we didn't have enough people on. I told the ls and everyone started coming out to the zone. Then I see the other ls all running to the warp guy and I'm like WTF? Sure enough, wrong zone and they got claim. Little ass, I wanted to punch his taru face in.

I LOVE fighting Sandworm and Ix, I just hate trying to find them. Ix is easier but when I hear Sandworm window is coming up I want to log off. LOL

I think Guirve is insanely easy. Whenever we get that one its like an automatic win. I get the biggest laugh at the blms though and always tell them when we get that zone "Hope you have a buffer!!" lol

One time we didn't get the pop and left one person to wait for TOD on Ix. It was about an hour before Dynamis so we all were gathering and getting ready. Dynamis time comes and he's still there. We do Dynamis and come out and HE'S STILL THERE. It was insane. Some new shell was trying their hand at it and it took them forever.

It reminds me of watching some of the RMT fights in the past. They sort of come in waves of job combinations that don't make any sense, like Nin and Thf, then Rdm and Blm, then the Nin gets a raise and it's Rdm and Nin, then another Nin comes, but now it's Nin and Nin, and ten minutes after they wipe the Rdm shows up again. It's snoozeville.

What you said wasn't elitest. Some ls's are inexperienced, don't have pimped players, etc and thats why they take so damn long to kill some stuff. Ix can be a pain in the ass without the right jobs there and without good players. So ya, it happens, sometimes you have to lol at other ls's because you've been there done that at one time or another.

It was months ago... I wanna say it was mainly light blue... It was before Sync so there were all kinds too. Like a veritable hill of fearful skittles.

Two Galka Tanks... One all in white ... one all in black.. they traded deaths several times and were rez'd... peeps would run in and WS or SATA and run away. Several would be caught in a wave of unexpected AoE. Best view I've ever really had while KO'd actually.

It will make it that much more meaningfull when I can finally afford one of them Knives Ix drops.

A couple years ago I got a party in Bibiki Bay and just as I rode up on my chocobo the gob they were fighting did Bomb Toss. The next thing I knew I was dismounting but I never hit the button and then I was dead on the ground. LOL So ya, things can happen to you on your chocobo...........and its HILARIOUS!
