Actually this current conversation leads to a peeve of mine. People looking down on me because I don't have uber gear. I've been doing endgame for years but I rarely ask for stuff. I usually let other people get things before me because I pass. One of my rdms wears the Errant body or her Warlocks Tabard still. One of my whms still only has an Ajari Necklace and I only got that recently. Or how about the Holy Ampulla in my ranged slot? A NQ weskit for my blm too. And my Hauberk is my pride and joy on my drk. (And my Haub is for my other jobs.) lol


I'm not a gear whore but I am a dedicated member. I don't afk, I don't watch tv, I don't goof off, but I am there to do my job to the best of my ability at all times. Screw my gear, consider that.

Well my Main Healing gear on WHM looks something like this:

Main: Light Staff/Dark Staff/Earth Staff/Ice staff/Wind Staff/Mythic Wand
Sub: Staff Strap
Ammo: Bibiki Seashell
Head: Wivire Hairpin (I don't have anywhere near the IS needed for the Walmart Turban)
Neck: Beak Necklace/Ajari Necklace
Earring 1: Antivenom Earring
Earring 2: Insomnia Earring
Body: Noble's Tunic/Blessed Briault/Errant Houpplande
Hands: Blessed Gloves
Rings: Electrum Ring x2
Back: Rainbow Cape
Waist: Heirarch belt
Legs: Blessed Trousers
Feet: Blessed Pumps

There's NO HQ gear there at all and none of it is really expensive. I don't have the time do do constant BCNMs and ENMs for some of the better WHM gear for those slots but I've never had any trouble at all with that gear. Heck that Noble's Tunic is probably my pride and joy on WHM XD

Same here. Thankfully my LS knows that when I turn up to events I will be doing my best regardless of if the group is going to succeed or not.

You know, I would rather have that right there then some 1337 gill buyer who doesn't know how to play, goes afk for 5 mins every 2 mins, leeches, sucks at his job, doesn't pay attention, or just mouths how we all suck all pt. If you play well, and are attenative and help the team, I could care less if your undergeared.

I only buy gear about every 10 levels, but I do get good stuff, make sure its top of the line for its level, and will stop to hunt an nm before leveling forward, such as spook, lizzy, or for specific classes like panzer percival or doppleganger dio.

First off, this is Callysto's g/f. As he said in a previous post, my main job is WHM. And there is really nothing bad about your gear. My only suggestion would be to put some MND in your ring and head slots after you spend the mp from the electrum/wirve. If i remember right Aquamarine rings arent that exspensive.

I had a pt this weekend and some guy was just being real awesome. First he complained about his kid and his life. He was a single father, blah blah blah. Sure, I agree being a single parent can be a tough, but I'm not sure how he got into the situation, that is not here or there. He kept going afk for 5 mins like litearlly every 2 mins. He kept bitching about his child. How he never has time for games, blah blah blah. He leeched a good two hours and I remember him casting 1 spell maybe? He was rdm and never left the side of the whm. It pissed me off and after about two hours of his bs and leeching, I called him out before disbanding. He called me a dick and flamed. I blisted.

This shit is ridick. Take care of you fucking kid. Be an adult. Be a parent. Drop the controller and do your duty. Don't bitch and keep putting your kid off, you got a responsibility, BRO.

I only wore mine the other day because I was admiring it! But actually wearing it as part of any sort of healing build etc, is fucking fail. If you full time (or even cast in) Dalmatica on WHM then you're doing it wrong.

I wouldn't even carry one as WHM...with most of the other standard WHM shit that a WHM would have easy access to(if they had access to a Dalmy already that is) you should be able to easily force a Medicine latent without it...and it's useless to idle in since you should already have noble's and the -50 HP would mess with Devotion/Martyr.

Like my g/f said(freaking ganked my laptop ) what you have is pretty standard, really there's only some minor upgrades in each slot, and most are r/e...unless you count stuff like Blessed+1 which I feel is a bit exorbitant until you knock down some more useful expensive stuff.

I can not stand when someone plays this game and had kids that need tending to but they bitch and moan about the kids instead of doing their damn job. We had a husband and wife team in one of my ls's that did this. They'd come to events and you could hear their kids on vent screaming in the background. These weren't kids that were old enough to take care of themselves either. Me and one of the leaders talked about this one day saying we hoped those kids were at least 11 or 12 but then they put a family pic up and we found out otherwise. One of the kids was a baby no more than a year and a half old. We'd do events till late sometimes....1am my time. When we were done they'd say "well gotta go feed the kids, they've been screaming for the past 2 hours". SERIOUSLY!?? BOTH OF YOU HAD TO COME TO THE EVENT!? It was like 10pm their time.....feeding the kids at TEN? Shouldn't they be well fed and in bed sleeping by then!? And no this wasn't a once in a while experience either unfortunately. I stopped getting on vent or logged at certain times because I couldn't take their complaining about the kids, the kids screaming, and me knowing what these poor kids were going through.

Yep, nothing wrong with this. I am so proud of my Noble's too and wear it quite proudly. I do have 2 HQ staves but thats because someone took pity on my blm (Aquilo's and Jupiter).

To be honest I can't really be bothered with HQ versions of stuff unless the cost is worth it (Ranged Weapons rings and earrings being the main ones). The vast majority of it is just epeen stuff anyway.

My LS keeps bugging me to get the Wahlra Turban (I can never spell that right) but it's 20k IS and I don't have RDM levelled so it looks like I'm going to be doing lots of besieged before I can get that

A lot of money has gone to getting RNG to 37 (About 200k, pretty much all of it going on ammo). I got a bit too trigger happy. Some of the parses were topping the BLM's damage output. It's nothing a fishing trip won't handle although I recent got RNG30 and Barrage so I can easily see more money being blown on ammo to make those pretty numbers.

Though fishing is stressful right now. I'm mainly just annoyed by the bloody Rusty Subligar eating my Shrimp Lures. It sucks when you lose a 6k Lure and have to go all the way back to a Jeuno/WG AH and find that the price of it went up to 8k. Then you go allthe way back to the ferry and the first thing you hook is another bloody rusty subligar.

I know a couple of WHMs who stand around in it to show it off but I've also seen an alarming number of WHMs actually casting in Dalmatica.

And I would have thought most WHMs would just drop stoneskin and use Sublimation/Devotion/Martyr if they want thier medicine ring latents
