Immature people.
So I'm drg/war in a party. We also have 2 mnks, whm, cor, and a sam. One mnk was /dnc. We level sync'd down to 18 and were killing worms in Quifm by the pond. So when someone would get down to 100 or less hp I'd voke it off of them. Keeping the whm alive was important too I thought. So, it was night and the cor leaves the party to kill off wights and banshees so we don't get aggro. The rest of us went to killing worms.
We kill one worm with little problem and go to the next. First mistake, there was a group of 3 worms in a triangle and no one was a puller so one mnk and the sam go to one worm and the other mnk goes to a different worm. I always wait and engage when I know a target has been picked so for a second I was like "Oooook....which worm?" So I went to the one with the mnk and sam. Well the other mnk wasn't paying attention but he eventually changed to our mob. Second mistake, hoping the whm would use his mp wisely and SILENCE THE WORMS. He didn't, it was hairy but we got the one mob down and then ran off to safety.
Now onto the third mistake, more stupidity. So 4 of us sat down near the mouth of a tunnel but not in it.....because as most people know wights spawn in them. But our whm decides to go into the tunnel and you can see a wight in the tunnel behind him. The cor was out killing other stuff on the other side of the pond so he wasn't near to help. And to top it off, the whm had a DOT on him so you KNOW whats gonna happen next. I watched his hp and he ticks down into the yellow and that wight starts making a beeline for him. So foolish me, stands up and vokes the wight as it gets to him and then I try to run down the tunnel away from the pt and die. I didn't get far though because I was already in low hp. So then the wight turns around and starts whacking the rest of them because they have low hp and just stood there.
So I hp and as I'm running back to Quifm the whm starts yelling at me. Apparently it was all my fault that the mnk and sam died. Let's see, when I ran off with the wight they didn't move. If I had let the whm die from the wight, they probably wouldn't have moved either. So in the end they would probably have died anyways. The whm used the "I'm talking to the cor on my headset..." as an excuse that I shouldn't have voked. Well buddy I hate to break it to ya but the cor didn't get there until after 3 of us were already dead, so he wouldn't have made it to you if I had let the wight stay on you and 3 people would have died anyways. Brain surgeon that whm, I tell ya.
So then the whm starts on me about voking when the cor was tanking the worms we were exping on. (Way to deflect the conversation buddy.) I said "I was voking when he had 100 or less hp (so deep in the red), but hey if you want me to stand there and mindlessly whack stuff np." (Not to mention that 2 other pt members were also voking our exp mobs.) And I followed that statement with "..but getting my ass reamed for being a nice person and not letting the whm die after HE fucks up and gets aggro blows." So the leader and his butt buddy the whm thought that was a mt and started laughing. I said "No its not a mt. I'm not some immature kid so I say whats on my mind and if you don't like it, kick me." So, of course, they did.
Grow up, accept responsibility when you fuck up, and move on. And another thing to.....COMMUNICATION. You see someone's sub is war and you don't want people that have the ability to voke to use it........TELL THEM BEFORE YOU START KILLING. You know some people actually know what voke is for and use it.
