Probably the most I've ever went through was 20. But according to Wiki, the max is hiiiiigh. Nobody really knows what the cap is.

So 2 weeks ago Sheep In Antlion's Clothing fed us a couple of Galaetia, which was bombing hard, down from 120k~ to 70k. We unloaded at 70k since it was better than nothing...and then the Argent set is added, the main ingredient being: guess. As of yesterday they're up to 400k. Which is ok since we got another one to drop yesterday, but makes me sad knowing that we missed out on another chunk by a week.

My husband's ls was doing Ix. I looked over at his screen right before I started to watch a video. The video ran for 45 mins and they were still doing it. I watched a shorter video that was 25 mins and they were still doing it after that! I asked him if it was the same one and he said yes. I fell asleep in my chair watching them try to get that sucker to stay down. Thats a HELL OF A LOT of rr's! But it did drop the Altruistic Cape vice so that was nice.

Well-meaning WHMs who cure me then sleep my links. I was able to tank all three of those mobs even without your help (though it's appreciated) but sleeping the mob just means I won't be able to get any XP off of it, but still need to kill it anyway.

People who pull/aggro an NM then call for help instead of inviting a higher level player or just dying and waiting for the raise.

Spent all of yesterday camping Silverhook/Blackbeard with another WHM who needs the clubs and some Lv50 THF pulled Silverhook and instead of accepting our invite he called for help

Ah well at least I made plenty of profit off the Nebs and we got to kick around Sea Horror a few times to get revenge from when he used to kill me as a Lv30 WHM fishing off the side of the boat.

Started posting this on the Winter Update string but seemed more adequately placed here once I started..... .. . . sorry, turned into kinda a grip session.

*On NPC PRICING

I just began my assault on the Lesser Gaylas bats in The Sanctuary... I finally reached the level to farm at a good clip and what happens...? Npc prices gimpt!!! Thats a real pisser. I know a lot of people used the leeches and bats. Oh well. Beast blood isn't too bad still. I'm sure there's gotta be other ways to get gil.

Guess this will light the fire under me to lvl a craft, tho I don't really see a craft being very profitable at first. Need the gil to lvl the craft... Snake eating it's tail comes to mind.

Right now I'm thinkin' Ram skins/horns and Mythril Beastcoins but any suggestions are appreciated.

*On FIELD MANUALS

I love em BUT I don't like the downtime the party takes to figure out which page to do. Also its very frustrating that the Buffs you buy with Tabs go away once you initially Level Sync. That is costing a lot of people lots and lots of Tabs. Refresh w/ sub-whm for early solo is insane awesome-ness tho that I can't express my love for enough.

I was also in a party where the leader was more concerned with getting his own "training" done over the rest of the groups. He'd steal camps and pull mobs while the rest of us protested (we were truly in shock) since we were all assaulted with /tells asking us to leave. He'd also sneak back to the Manual while we were battling to get the new training page since he was ahead in the count somehow at all times. We disbanded on him when he pulled 2 pugils, 2 wights and a Giga. Needless to say, nobody wanted to Raise him.

I will say that I'm stoked for these Field Training sessions to duo with my Drg friend but I'm disappointed that there's no Field Training my Dancer's level (65)

*On CASKETS and CHESTS

Pretty useless IMhO and they slow the party down while experiencing. I wish the whole party was given the clue instead of people having to tell the group. I have only unlocked one chest out of I don't know how many; but I did get a Desperado Ring which was cool. It's just a very clunky system. Most of the temp items have been completely useless and instead of smoothing out the experience gathering have merely added mini speed bumps ...which might have been SE's intent.

*On OP Warp NPC RELOCATION

Good for Windy... you guys were scroood where it used to be... but I'm a Sandy-Dancer. Now it's cool that it's right outside the MH but now you gotta run basically twice as far if you need to get the signet before you OP warp. *SE, could ya move or add a signet dude or something.

I participated in my first last night... and probably last. {Rhet ?} How come a 2009 internet high speed connection can't handle a 2001 game?!?!

I ran around like a ninny (in ruffles) barely hitting anything, getting blasted by things I could not see, DC'd 3 times; and came back just in time for the battle to end and get no reward for my hour (or so) of frustrtion... Any tips or reasons I should continue to attempt this are welcome (I'm 360 btw)

Welcome to Besieged, lol. For starters make sure to pop your temporary items, as they will occassionally refill, and you get some points for using them. Try to use abilities that cannot be totally missed if you can, Dia/Bio/Quick Draw/Sneak Attack are all nice for this...as far as system-wise, Besieged does take a toll on the 360 and can make it freeze up. I would recommend shutting down the system and restarting it before Besieged starts, typically if I do this right before it I don't freeze, but if I've already had the 360 running for several hours and then try to do one it almost always does.

Funny, but I popt them potions like Rush downs painkillers; but I was unaware I recieve "credit" for it... that is awesome. Since my main is Dancer, I think next time I'll /Thf so I can Sneak Attack Quickstep to gain TP.

I shoulda clarified... he only meant to pull the pugil.. all the rest linked and aggro'd. Yes... we ran from the mobs, and came back to call for a raise for him (mainly to show him no one would) then we disbanded while laughing at him.

What's up with CoP runs attracting the biggest idiots in the game? (Yes it's another CoP rant)

I was doing a Prommy-Holla run last night. There was a lot of people myself included who needed this fight so we ended up with a full alliance running. I was one of the group leaders and I'm about 0-7 on this fight so I wanted to do it right.

To sum I wanted to make sure that everyone had at least a Hysteroanima, Psychoanima, a stack of poison pots and Potions/Ethers, Regen/Refresh drinks and some form of RR. Not an unreasonable demand considering that this will cost 15k and 500 CP/IS at the very most on my server if you farm recollections like I had spent all day doing. I was the WHM so after getting my items I was checking up to see if everyone had thier items. A full hour and 50k of my own gil later everyone who didn't have thier items had thier items. So i teleported and got this message from one of the SAMs

SAM: Um I don't have any RR items and I'm out of CP

Fair enough as there were no RR earrings on the AH so I loaned out him mine to him and grabbed a RR scroll for myself.

So I teleported my party to the crag and waiting for the other parties to get there. Oh dear god what a nightmare. Half of the alliance kept spamming the party chat while the party leaders were trying to get thier members to stick with the alliance. Then there was one of my party members who kept DCing and some other alliance members who kept running off in thier own in the top floors. then there was the "Don't aggro the Thinker!" being yelled by pretty much the entire alliance when we were on the top floor. It basically took us 2 hours to do the 20 minute job of climbing to the top of a Promyvion.

So we got to the top floor. My party had to go last mainly because I had to go back out into the 4th floor alone to raise someone who had DC'd and gotten killed when some idiot attacked a Thinker. The guy who kept DCing warped out taking his anima with him. It was a pain but we had a WAR to rep him with from one of the parties that won and I had both my 2 hour available and both me and the remaining SAM had an an emergency Terroranima.

So here comes the fight for my party. I put the SMN last in the anima order at 20% so she could focus on getting her 2 hours off. We were doing fine, this thing was getting annihilated and we would easily have set a new record but two things happened. First the remaining SAM accidentally warped out. It wasn't a huge problem as the NM was on 10% HP and the SMN had one BP left before Astral Flow wore and it was a genuine mistake as the warp scroll was below his poison pots in the item menu.

Then the second thing happened that single handedly pissed off the entire party:

Me: 20% [summoner's name] use your anima!

Nothing.

Me: [summoner's name] use your anima!!
*long pause*
SMN: I didn't bring any...

She decided to say this not when I was setting the anima order and we could have done something about it by you know, NOT putting her last so we would have a Hysteroanima active during the Trinary Absorption spam. No she decided to say it after the NM just drained the tanks' enitre fucking HP reserve.

So now the thing was spamming TP moves I didn't have any real choice other than to Benediction + Terroranima. Unfortunately neither me or the DRK could get bind to stick but at least it gave us a few moments to rest. We still wiped. What was most painful was that we knew it was coming after the SMN revealed that she had no anima during the TP spam so we wiped in the painful "slow motion train wreck" style.

Anyone know how to get 50k and 3 hours of time I could have been spending with my family during the Chirstmas holidays back?

Better yet can SE implement an IQ test you need to pass for these runs? Anyone who doesn't have an IQ high enough to open up the AH and buy two items they're too lazy to farm for should have thier characters deleted at the very least.

Also are all CoP mission runs this stressful to complete or am I just running into total morons?

Hey, on my alt, 17 f**king tries at the promies with pick up parties and I've given up. I just have one to go too but I refuse to give myself anymore grey hairs over it. I HATE PICK UP PARTIES FOR COP!
