Why does everything have to be FAST FAST FAST!? WHY!? Sometimes slow and steady is fun too GDI! I got all excited cause we were doing Kirin. I haven't been in sky in oooooooooo 4+ months. So then the bombshell is dropped......we are melee burning it. F**K MELEE BURN GDI! Where are the days of actual skill, where you could magic burst and then run in terror from Kirin!? It took us 20 times longer to get up to Kirin as it did to kill it...........1 min 3 secs and it was dead. Seriously.......F**K THAT!

People who misunderstand the concept of level syncing. They seem to think that every single party will now level sync to the lowest member.

Honestly, I tried to invite a support job to a party that I had made with 4 friends. Yep that's right, only needed one person. Now my sam is 74 but everyone else in the party is 75. I generally use auto-translate and when sending an invite, my normal one is; {Excuse me} {Limit point} {Party} 5/6 ... followed by a list of the members and/or our target zone.

So I spot a 75 brd lfp, send him a tell. He responds and says {no thanks} because he doesn't to sync. /sigh. I tell him we're not level syncing and that everyone in the party is 75 except me. Again he responds saying that he doesn't want to sync and we WILL sync because I'm 74. Slightly annoyed at this point, try explaining it to him but he doesn't want to join. I passed leader to one of my friends and tell them to invite him, just to see what he says. 2 mins later he's in our party, checks all the level 75s, tells them to kick the {Too weak} 74 because I'll slow us down. I kick him and invite a cor who appeared.


About an hour into our party, the same brd turns up with a party of his own and attempts to camp right on top of us.

Why doesn't it surprise me that there's still BRDs that live in such a state of a hyperbole? Talk about letting the job get to your head... ugh.

Had a RDM like that except he wanted us to Sync down to 72 for his EXP per kill when we were in the Greater Colibri camp and the rest of us were 75. We even had a BRD to go with my COR. By 72ish, syncing is just silly.

I told him that, quite frankly, I didn't think that was fair to the rest of the PT, as we'd lose merit abilities that would impact the greater flow of EXP per hour.

I mean, sure, if you don't want me to be able to manipulate Corsair or Evoker's Roll each time its up (I worked my ass off to get five minute Snake Eye recast and six minute roll durations here), fine, we'll just sync and you can enjoy lower EXP returns.

He got grumpy and fake DCed minutes later.

Ugh, when will people learn EXP per hour > Exp per kill?

I'm here just to remind you that they aren't doing it for fun, they are grinding it for gil and items so the faster it's done the better it is for them.

For them, yes but not for everyone. While I understand the point of why they do it because I wasn't born yesterday, I don't agree with it. I think everyone should have fun and not a select bunch that decide they just want it over with. I cast a couple cure 3's and a couple cure 4's and then bene'd when he 2 hr'd and that was about it. What I would like to see is alternating how we do it each time. This time was melee burn, next time we get to do it the old fashioned way and so on.

when u put a bunch of the same things on the ah and it won't remember the price u putting them on for on subsequent items. have to keep keying in the same price....it's the little things!

This BRD in my PT is getting on my nerves, I haven't gotten ballad for about 15 minutes now... but the DRG has and I haven't seen him cast a spell once for Healing Breath.

... Oh wait, 18 mins later the BRD finally gives it up.

I agree, Melee raping the endgame stuff is boring... what happened to skill. I love my skiy LS we do Kirin by picking SC partners, and SCing/ magic bursting the poor bastard to death ^.^

Anyway, here is a new one for me tonight.....


RDM that think its cute to steal mobs from our middle bird camp, and send to his lower bird camp, by staying right on the ledge of the small cliff...... he did this for about an hour, then as his PT disbanded, he apologized.... like it was a mistake or something -.-
