thinking a pl means u can dispense entirely with normal party design. just cos they got lots of mp doesnt mean we should use it up as fast as possible in a party of DDs!

From soloing BLM I've seen Bind stick through multiple nukes before. I just think it's a random duration like Sneak/Invis and Sleep.

Pre-55, black mages still get invites. Thiefs can get invites at any level, though other DD are usually more preferred.

Fish botters is my pet peeve.

I used to love that aspect of the game. But the profits just aren't there now, and it's annoying when there are obvious botters because they fish the same time ever day, and when that bot's done - behold - another one arrives (perhaps from the same account) to fill his spot!

NPCing fish is the way to make gil from it. Some fish are huge profits on the AH, but vendors/guilds are the way to go.

Still hate fish bots though...killing my catch rate...

NPCing Gold Carp will net you a nice bit of gil (200-300 a fish) and they are catchable at about 15+ if you have a Halcyon Rod and lots of patience. Windy is the best place but you will catch a lot of Moat Carps, my last fishing trip to Windy was something like 5 stacks of Moat to 1 stack of Gold on average. I prefer Jugner as you can also get Dark Bass and Tricoloured Carp. It works out as less money overall but it will still you up very quicky.

Moats are okay money since people buy them for the Lu Shangs quest. If you're serious about fishing then save all the moats you catch for the Lu Shang's quest.

the hordes of RMT that stand in line in front of the WW guild to buy up all the Arrowwood Lumber just to sell it on the AH. I'm lucky if I can buy 4 stacks of arrowwood lumber a day now. I'm going to have to start wasting my days and money synthing my own now ><

lol I didn't know the RMT still did that with Arrowwood. I usually craft my own Arrowwood and Ash lumber just because I have 69 Woodworking and Lumberjack to save crystals. I know for sure they still do it with Bronze Ingots at the Smithing Guild.
