Here's a new one:

Ninjas who can't hold hate because they're not paying attention. I was in a party last night, and pretty good set up, but the DRK (a fellow LS member) was tanking 90% of the time because the Ninja did NOTHING more than voke every once in a while ... it was absolutely ridiculous. Now I don't know much about being a tank except what I've seen from being in XP parties, but if you have a DRK, who builds up a massive amount of hate in a short period of time, then as a tank you need to be doing all you can tol hold hate, especially if you're a NIN.

After about 10 fights the NIN said he was going to have to go, (and he started the party >.<), he was going out soon and wasn't paying attention to the game. Well no shit, Sherlock.

We got another NIN though and all was well with the world.

When I'm away from my house for more than 15 hours and I leave my mule's bazaar up in my absense, only to come back and find that three out of thirty things have sold. >.<

My peeves.

1. The constant abbreviations, grammar errors, and people who can't capitalize!

2. A bazaar that has random item, usually it's the one I need, at 99,999,999 . So what if little Johnny gave you that red rose. Why waste my time looking at your Bazaar when I can go to the Auction House and get it for way cheaper.

3. People who get pissed when you check them. Just to be smart I created a Macro that said " Savvy casts Examinaga on <t>" and then I check them. Would you believe the rude comments I got??? Wow.. Some people need to take a chill pill.

4. People who slap together a party that dosn't work. I was in a party as my Monk/War. The other characters where, War/Whm... haha.... War/Mnk, BlackMage/Thief, War/Thief, and War/Dragoon. After realizing that there was no real healer in this party I questioned it. Then got blasted saying that the War/Whm could handle it. Sure.... You go on believing that buddy. Even me being confused and not understanding how many of the games events and such go can understand that that party won't last long.

5. WHY do people treat Newbies like garbage?! Were you NEVER a newbie yourself?! Yes.. I am level 26... oooh... aaah.. I've had the game for 2 years...... BUT I never got to play all the time. When I did I was in crappy parties, and I never had anyone around to show me the ropes. I leveled to 26 on my OWN save for 2 really good parties I was a part of and then only leveled 5 times. Newbies want to learn and become better at their jobs. Why am I only level 26? Because I get tired of being berated for not knowing how to do certain things when I was never shown how. And when they try to show me, they can never explain it well enough and then..... more berating.. so why try?

6. I think I have finally found a spot all to myself to fight mobs... wrong.. an arrow or provoke comes flying out of nowhere to snatch the crawler that could possibly drop that final silk thread I need for a stack. I could be in the most remote part of the world map, hiding under a boulder fighting grub worms and SOMEONE would come along and snatch my prey from under me.

7. Prices at the AH... come one... most prices I can see as very reasonable when you think of inflation and such... but when you need an item that costs more than the product you will synthesize from it that's a little much.. And level 1-5 armour and accessories that cost an arm and a leg. That goes with Newbies being treated like trash. They can't afford that brass cap when it's 1000 gil.....

8. Being screamed at for no knowing how to do a skillchain. Sorry.. I love this game, but I do not eat, sleep, and dream it 24/7. Forgive me for not memorizing the skillchain chart. Like its easy to understand anyway....

9. When you help someone, by using cure, or stopping a Yagudo from pummeling a Taru to death. (Not picking on Taru's but you catch my drift). The lil guy has 30 hp and is running for his life toward the city gate screaming for help. You pull it off, allowing the cute little guy to escape with his life. You would expect a thank you would you not? You WOULD... but would you get one? 3 times out of 10. Next time little buddy... I'll place my gil on the Yagudo..

10. People thinking it's funny to answer your questions incorrectly.
True story.

I was very new to the game and I asked a simple question...

Savvy says where is The Cat Burglar's hideout located?
I got the responses... Bastok...Go to Mhaura hop the ferry and battle the pirates for the clue, which by the way was very mean I died of course, and so on.

I could list more, but I think this post might be a little to long as it is.

o.o You need to lighten up. By the way, don't get aggrevated at parties in general. At your level, you're going to get invited to a shitload of newb parties. Just seems that you've had bad party experience. As you get up though, you will love parties more and more.

Yeah, a lot of people are idiots like that. I, on the other hand, try to help newbies out as much as I can, given that they are willing to learn. The reason that a lot of people think that newbs are n00bs is because a lot of them expect that they know everything about the game and don't level their subjob properly......in that case, yeah, I'd laugh at their expense and run off.

I probably would have said the same thing then to you lol. Most of the things that Karo posted are avoidable with a bit of research or filters ect. I guess my post was a backhanded way to try to find out what aspects of the game they do enjoy. In 2 years, having a high job of 26 and a laundry list of complaints like that makes me wonder why they stick with it? There's obviously some enjoyment there somewhere but they seem to have lost it. Who knows? Maybe they just felt the need to vent.

Hmm...

1) Lolgrammarnazis who wants everyone to type like they are writting a novel or an official document. Specially while they are too busy trying to stay alive or simply trying to make typing (which we do a lot) faster and more functional.

2) People who complain an treat other newbies like trash, but yet expect to be treated with respect being newbies themselves.

3) People who thinks they are entitled to everything in the game like they are some sort of Princess that can do whatever they want but have no tolerance when others do so too.

4) People who just can't assimilate and respect the fact that other players may not like being checked, or the fact that they can use the Bazaar function in whatever way they feel like it.

5) People who only helps others to get a "zomg Thank you for saving my life!" rather than just helping because is the right thing to do.


I could go on but I got bored of this already.
