I hate raising somebody I just raised

I hate when I raise someone in dynamis, where time is so important and I see one of two things happen:

1. "The Raise has no effect on xxxx." Seriously, get up and stop wasting my MP, or at least pay attention and if you see me casting Raise when you don't need it, /tell me and let me know. Especially after a wipe.

2. After casting Raise on someone (or R2), I see their butt-buddy come by and cast R3 over mine. Again, a waste of MP. If you can't build a buffer before Dynamis, why bother going?

Right ... the other day, we had somebody tell us going INTO Dynamis that the needed R2 or R3 or they'd delevel. I was basically all "if it's a wipe, you get what you get, and you TAKE it!"

Seriously.

It strikes me as funny that I don't consider myself as having that much a buffer, about 4,400-4,900, and yet I'll take that R1 during whatever event I'm in if that's what I can get. Heck, I don't even go get exp that much, it has all been merits lately.

I use RR earrings too, and those are only R1s as well.

OMFG this annoys the crap out of ALL our WHMs. One time we had like 4 people afk, all of whom were given R3s MULTIPLE TIMES, and another WHM said in ls, "I'm sure all the people taking R1 and R2 sure appreciate the AFK people wasting R3's."

Irritates the hell out of me, especially when I'm weakened, R3 recast fucking sucks.

we used to make it a rule everyone required a RR item but too many people couldn't afford 30k or w/e for a RR earring
if your too poor for your regular supplies (RR, food, echo drops, ninja tools etc)
you're too poor to level that 54 dark knight from 10 am -9 pm when our event starts

go farm ffs
get a buffer
campaign has made it so there is zero excuse other then you werent on (hey if you had to work, had to go to school, family matters etc no big deal, you haven't played) but when people play ALL FUCKING DAY and can still be totally unprepared they get no sympathy from meeeeeee

I've always made sure to cap my exp on my 75's. I never even changed to merit mode to make sure it's capped. I make sure I have RR up and will use that in a heartbeat before someone will waste their MP on me to cast R III or something. With Besieged and Campaign, I don't see a reason for an excuse. I can even get a quick Campaign done waiting to get my trailer loaded or unloaded. Do a few Ops and you're at cap again.

I think its great when people have the time to cap their buffers. I would LOVE to have my buffers capped on all my jobs and I always keep it in exp mode. As soon as I get to 20k exp, I start getting nervous but unfortunately I don't have the time to do this with multiple lvl 75 jobs. At ls events, I easily lose 10k+ exp at a crack doing multiple events every night. With one night off a week in order to do what I want, that doesn't leave enough time to cap buffers. So while some people have this luxury, don't always assume others do.

it's the blms with 2000/44000 that throw down their fully merited AM IIs with no regard for hate then bitch about RIII because they subbed RDM for MAB
and they do this EVERY SINGLE DYNAMIS

People who level x job for a quick level 75 just so they can say they have it. They have no intention to learn how the job functions, don't bring the correct (or up to date) gear and think you should kiss their feet because they blessed your party with their presence.

They try to dictate how everything works, what jobs are acceptable in the party and what mobs we will be fighting before they even contemplate accepting the invite. If you want to be that picky, start your own damn party! The rest of us have to work with what we can find.
