Amen! Similar thing happened tonight in Dynamis-Bastok. About 30 mins in, someone needs to afk. Ok no biggy and they came back 5 mins later. I think 5 mins is about my threshold for someone being afk. 5 mins or less seems fine but longer that that is not afk thats bbl. LOL Anyways, the person comes back to say they need to go afk again.... And they were afk for the entire rest of time. When we had 5 mins left to farm and that could mean another piece of equip or more bills but noooooooooo we had to drop glass because the afk person DIDN'T LOG OUT! WHY!? More than 5 mins........just LOG!! Honestly is it that hard to log out and with a few clicks log back in?? No just inconvienence every other single person...... /sigh

That's when you have a black mage be put in his party and D2 him at the 5 minute mark.

Breakga in Dynamis when I'm on whm makes me just want to turn off my monitor. Why? Because here I am trying to stay back as far as I can but of course it's not far enough because people always take the farthest freakin scorp. LOL A scorp does breakga and you see a HUGE list of names scroll by. Then 1/2 of the ally or more does this:

Unfortunately when he came back and said he needed to go afk again, we believed he'd be only 5 mins or less again. He dropped pt, went afk, and that was the end of that.

The same person I was talking about before showed up late to Dynamis, came on a relatively useless job, then 'fell asleep' while autorunning straight into a pile of mobs. We made him HP.

And again, holy fucking shit at greedy people. Last week a member missed his 3rd consecutive Limbus run after attaining Homam body, the third he actually gave us a somewhat valid excuse, but still the person behind him for Homam hands has been great on attendance, so we bumped them up a spot over the person who had missed runs. The person who had missed runs got so pissed over being put 2nd in line for one piece of gear they had on their wish list that they quit the shell. When our next Omega drops 2 hands I'm going to laugh my ass off.

And to boot, the person who we bumped up to first in line then goes on to bitch to other members behind our back that our bank doesn't pay for Limbus runs, when our LS bank is already in the red. They said they're tired of 'the LS just costing them time and gil for only about 1 R/EX piece of gear a month'. This same person has gotten 3 pieces of THF AF2 in the last 10 days. Peoples' greed fucking astounds me.

What's really sad is seeing a gimp Paladin. I was leveling Warrior through Yuhtunga Jungle. I had taken the time to save up for chainmail, knowing that mandies rape shadows, I figured I would be doing some tanking. When we invited a Paladin I thought I would be switching over to DD, but I just took one look at his lizard gear and shook my head. I was taking hits better than him even with attack food and no Defender.

I didn't come right out and say, "okay your gear sucks so I'm going to tank." Instead I just decided to let my skill speak for itself. We had a little provoke contest with the mob. I was the puller and when I got back to camp he would provoke. After a few hits he would fall into yellow and I would provoke. After getting cured he would provoke again. Eventually he must have realized I was doing a better job because he stopped provoking unless I fell into yellow, but I don't know why he bothered to do that even. Our White Mage still had MP and would have cured me. It's better to let me take it all than needing a cure for his sorry ass after taking another beating.

Back when I was leveling samurai, I can't tell you the number of gimp ninjas and paladins that couldn't keep hate to save their lives. One party I was in had a ranger, and just about every fight was the mob chasing the ranger, the ninja provoking the mob.....because that was all he had, and the melees chasing after the mob.

Definitely not the most fun I've had.

High-kiting endgame snobs that think they have the right to treat new players like trash in the road, and think waving their pathetically long playtimes in my face is proof to do so.


I don't need a load of negative, sarcastic bullshit ruining my fun with exping in FFXI.

It's game data. If you have five years of it under your belt - nice commitment.

God I hate melee who tell me what's wrong with them. EVERY. FREAKING. TIME.

I can see it in my chatlog. You are not the only person in the party. If I don't get to you right away, its PROBABLY because I am removing it from someone else. Newsflash, idiot, but Divine Seal is a 10 minute ability, and failing that, I can only Paralyna one person at a time. Cool your fucking jets and I'll get to you. Dragoon that's paralyzed is no big deal, but Ninja that's paralyzed is a problem. I'm going to take care of the more pressing need first. I also hate the ones who WAH WAH about being blinded when someone's HP is in the red. Suck it up, I've got more important things to worry about.

And if I have one more SAM/WAR telling me he's Silenced just because he can't bear to see the negative effect on his screen, I'm going to start shooting people.
