Good! Kudos to you and everyone else that helped! Stuff like this should be put up somewhere and officers of ls's should be on the lookout. It should be hard for them to get another GOOD ls and do this to more people.

well I’m a ffxi player from the start of Japanese release so i got a lot but my top has to be people who doubt my choice is subs like this one pt

I was sam/rng (this was way back when it didn’t matter where u was when u used a bow ) get invited and soon as I join the Japanese player says sam/rng??? And I just tell him “wait” so we get to Bibiki Bay and start fighting Dhalmel fight goes like this *Dhalmel enrage/ me sidewinder 1000+ dmg* and I did that for a good 4hrs needless to say he stfu after that ~.^

It just happened to me for the first time and it was fucking lame:

I was getting severe lag in Campaign and got a paralyze proc before I even knew I was paralyzed and lost one pouch of steel bullets to it. Why do they keep shit like that in the game? 20k down the tubes, thanks so much SE.

I'm calling a GM and bitching about it even though I know I probably won't get them back. So fucking lame.

Apparently before I left work on Friday some LS wiped to the ZNM Dea. We aren't sure how or what happened, all we know is that our LS leader was soloing Treants for Soul Plates, and here comes Dea at full health wandering to his home point to despawn. We weren't hawking their NM, we didn't even know they were fighting it, we just see the NM walking around unclaimed and full. LS leader nabs it and kites it back to the tower near Whitegate, a couple of people come out and help kill it. They expected us to invite them for drops so that they could reap the benefits of our kill.

The LS who wiped to it starts harrassing my LS leader in /t's from 8 people about how my LS is full of dirty thieves and that whoever leads our LS should kick Tanith out for being a dirty thief(Tanith is the shellholder, lol.)

So here's my issues:

1) Members of this LS were talking shit about my LS about a week before all this happened, for no apparent reason. They're a late-night LS that recently started doing endgame, and one of our members applied to them b/c the hours would have worked better for them. They go on to tell the applicant that we "don't compare to them in terms of players/skill/gear" and how our LS is fail/gimped/whatever. Not that we have relicholders in our LS, but I've never seen any of their members with any really outstanding gear, and I highly doubt they're up to the point of doing shit like clearing Dynamis-Beaucedine with 13 like we do.

What the fuck? We don't even know anyone in this LS, and they don't know shit about us. We don't typically compete for shit b/c they play several hours after we call it a night. We don't talk shit about them b/c we have no idea who they are. But since they're all big and bad now and felt the need to talk shit for no reason, we didn't feel the need to give the mob they wiped to back.

2. They wiped to fucking Dea. That mob is easily duo'd, I'm not sure how many they had because we didn't see their fight, but you have to be a fucking moron to die to it when it's kited with extreme ease and it's only real damaging move is targeted on itself, and simply running a few steps away will make it have no effect. Why did they even want the mob back if they died to it? Did they just want to die to it again? Do they not value their XP?

3. Why call us thieves in /say every time they see us now? We have strict LS policy about not talking shit in /s to other shells, so we don't feed it. And more to the point, last I checked 'stealing' a mob does not consist of grabbing a free, wandering mob as it's about to despawn when noone from the group who popped it is within sight. If we would have sat and camped their fight to stun/voke it if it went yellow for the slightest second, then yes, we're dicks and dirty thieves. But collecting a mob you totally wiped to? Really??

And wow BBQ, I never even thought of the possibility of that happening, I'm going to be super careful when paralyzed now, lol.

Additional peeve: When another shell gathers to do Dynamis at the same time you do, and makes no effort to communicate with you to see if you can work out a civil way to decide who gets the zone. This same shell has accused us of 'holding zones' before because we enter with 15, when they wait until they have 25+ just to enter. What they don't take into account 15 is a normal turnout for us, and we can clear the zone with that many, so why would we wait for 25 people to show up to enter when we want to get the shit done and get on with our nights.

The last time we tried to comprimise with them they refused to and told us that our LS leader had left us for another shell. Except they said that in /t. To our LS leader. Then they say we 'ninja'd' it when we went ahead and popped our glass when we were ready to go. If they really, really, really wanted the zone then they probably should have gotten ready to go faster, or grown some balls and entered with less than 20 before we could.

Why are people so stupid, honestly?

I'm still miffed that WHM didn't drop from Jeuno last night for my g/f, it'd be really, really nice for her to have those legs for barspells since it looks like she's going to have to be our main WHM for a while...and sucktastic AF in general, I think we just had THF and RNG drop...but we had 4 100v's drop. I think the total currency haul was something like 570~, I've never seen that much out of 1 run.

I can totally relate on both points. There are so many elitest pricks in endgame that they can ruin the experience. Frankly I pity people like that. If thats what it takes to help your self esteem, /pity.

My old ls leader didn't like having a huge ls so we low manned whatever we did. It really pushed people to know how to do their job and to PAY ATTENTION. We always had the same issue with ls's when we did Dynamis. They would have twice as many people gathered but they would be waiting for more. They would tell us that they get the zone since they have more people gathered than we do. Then we would pop and go in and the /t's would fly.

It was kind of awkward before we popped, it was like everyone in the zone knew that we were going to to pop our glass and enter before they did, yet they still just stood around and waited for it to happen. They didn't make any attempt to work something out with us, they didn't appear to be in a hurry to get ready(they didn't even have their hourglass there up until about 3 minutes before we popped ours), they just kind of stood there.

My other beef is, how do shells who go around telling people that they won't enter unless they have X number of members that is much larger than needed to clear and farm able to get that number of members even? If I were in the market for a new Dynamis LS, I wouldn't be looking for one that was afraid to do Bastok with less than 25, because common sense would tell you that their organization is probably lacking if they aren't confident enough to do something with 20 when they could do it with 15.

I personally don't like how most comment on someones grammar rather than address the issue that is made known. It's like how GMs tell you to black list someone because there wanting to appease the player being harrassed rather than address the issue or the players involved. Harrassment continues because the players doing the harrassing is just pacified with the /add name blacklist when they can just jump to a mule and continue then /logout

If I were a GM and that will never happen. I would research the accusations if found true there would be terminated accounts for being the harrasser. And a list of proof sent to the harrasser showing why they have been removed.

It's cute that you think they have that kind of time or power.

GMs are essentially customer service reps. They have a quota and they have a queue of customers to deal with. They simply don't have the time to thoroughly look into every issue.

Long time AFKers in Dynamis who still expect to get points. Seriously, WTF good are you to anyone if you're not there? Most zones have an AoE we'll be curing you of, wasting MP that could be used on someone who's actually around (at least until we figure out you're not there). I've had RDMs go AFK from right after the Buburimu boss to the end of the run. Heaven forbid we should need to pass something quickly.

It REALLY pisses me off in CoP zones, because some people actually sat out and you got in the zone. If you think for five seconds that you won't be able to stay the entire two hours, just fucking opt out. You're doing no good inside the zone if you're not there.

Sure it bugs me a little if you have to leave, but at least we're not counting on your ass to do shit anymore. Seriously, if you have to AFK for more than 15 minutes just drop your fucking glass.

Amen! Similar thing happened tonight in Dynamis-Bastok. About 30 mins in, someone needs to afk. Ok no biggy and they came back 5 mins later. I think 5 mins is about my threshold for someone being afk. 5 mins or less seems fine but longer that that is not afk thats bbl. LOL Anyways, the person comes back to say they need to go afk again.... And they were afk for the entire rest of time. When we had 5 mins left to farm and that could mean another piece of equip or more bills but noooooooooo we had to drop glass because the afk person DIDN'T LOG OUT! WHY!? More than 5 mins........just LOG!! Honestly is it that hard to log out and with a few clicks log back in?? No just inconvienence every other single person...... /sigh
