1) Macros being limited to 6 lines. Such a pain in the butt to have to hit 3 macros to change to your fire resist/mdt-/JA+cure/flash/terrorized+stoned/standing gear. Takes 3 macro pallets for all that stuff. I wish they would increase the # of lines to 16, but I'd settle for 14. Course if I stopped using the official windower and switched to the 3rd party one this wouldn't be an issue.

2) Seeing Plds exping or meriting in vit, def, and enmity gear. The idea is to kill the mobs fast and get fast exp, please, throw on some DD gear! Exp/merit mobs are not dangerous, they are squishy.

kk its one zone outside and alliances of people all milling around make faces at each. You seriously think they could have come up with something different. For sure we do not even want to start on the 1 room for Kirin with 1+ hour fights and another ls standing in there with you...

Nice thing about this method is that you don't have to care which set you are in, since <ctrl> + 2 will fire off the WS in either set. It'll also help to keep the pallet "clean" looking. Bad thing is it takes a bit of time to set up... At least most of the macros to be repeated can be copy-and-pasted.

ill try to fiddle with something like this; i currently have it set where macro set 1 is all abilities, multihit WS's, and tp/multihit gear macros
macro set 10 (hitting cntrl up) has full dex and full agi sets and setups for shark since thats basically full dex anyway
macro set 2 (hitting cntrl down from TP set) has rng acc+ gear but i dont really worry about that much in merits cause bolts tend to not work too well anyway
basically keep it on main TP and DE macro set and quickly hit up or down to change what i need

Heck, even 8 lines would work. At least then one could make a single Shock/Choke/Burn macro complete with staff swaps... -- Pteryx

Here's the deal.

Two of my friends (who are in a different linkshell than I) and I were running a sem-static to level some of our lower jobs, starting at 26. We got to about 40-ish before another member of their LS joined us, and brought along with him a PL. An unneeded PL, but whatever, I'll take it because the xp's been sweet and we've gotten ten levels in like four days.

Well the issue is the new guy. Ever since he joined the static XP has been phenomenal, and I'm sure it's not just because of him but also because we have a great setup.

However, he wants to level all the time. So much that I can barely afford to support the new gear I have to get when I'm leveling so quickly. Not only that, the three of them are in their LS and that's fine, and I've been working around their schedule (they're an HNM shell, I haven't gotten into HNM yet though I plan to eventually) but now they don't want to work around mine.

I quit my Dynamis and Limbus shell recently because I had issues with how it was run and some of the people in it, basically I didn't feel like I was wanted in the group and that I was systematically being forced out of the LS so I dropped my pearl. The only scheduled event that I do anymore is with my sky LS, twice a week. For now, until I get my life a little bit more static, this works for me.

Here's my issue, they have KS99 tonight. No problem, I'll farm or something, I sure do need it. But by the time they're done, I'll have sky. The new guy wants to xp tonight, and he's getting really insistent about it. He's gone without our RDM a few times and the RDM has had to xp on his own to catch back up. We've all tried to get him to just xp when it works for ALL of us, but he won't listen. And I'm getting really fed up with his attitude. And the other two won't stand up to him and tell him where to stick his Scythe.

So my pet peeve is people who refuse to compromise for the good of the group, and people with no backbone who won't tell them how fucking retarded they're being.

So my pet peeve is people who refuse to compromise for the good of the group, and people with no backbone who won't tell them how fucking retarded they're being.

Many moons ago, at NA release, a similar situation happened to me. I was leading a static to help out my son and husband. I already had a high lvl job so I decided to lvl something else with them. Since I had the most experience they told me to take control so I made a forum for us to post our work schedules and such. I would work out an exp schedule, etc and everything was nice and smooth. We were going at a decent pace and doing fine.......then along came someone's "friend" that wanted to lvl with us. Same scenario...he wanted to exp all the time without regard to our r/l issues or demands from our own ls's. He'd get quite sarcastic if we couldn't make it and eventually just took whoever could make HIS schedule and exped with them, leaving the rest of us trying to catch up. I had a team meeting without him and everyone seemed to be frustrated with him but NO ONE (including my family members!) would stand up to him. So I finally did stand up to him and he took the whm (his buddy) and made another static without the rest of us. Good luck Aksa, I have absolutely no advice for you.....just understanding. /sigh

My advice for you Aksannyi would be to hold a meeting with your original static members and come to a decision about what to do with him.

Let's face it, if he's taking whoever has the time to exp with him, then other party members are being left behind, in other words the static is being broken by this one fellow.

If he wants to exp NOW, then I'd tell him to go make a party and leave the static, a static party is there for the benefit of all members, not just the few.

After all, he knew what he was signing up for before he joined. If you were leveling too slow for his tastes then he should not have joined, simple as that.

This falls under my category of, don't complain about the smell on a hot day if you knew you were moving next door to a dairy. And you'd be surprised at how many people do.

LOL! I haven't heard that used since my father passed away! His family were farmers/breeders for many generations and I know he did regret moving to the city. Thats a good ole Midwest saying!
