Showing up to sky on WHM due to a recent lack of WHMs and a recent over-abundance of RDMs. Waiting at Kirin for 30 minutes as more people show up (late) and realizing that (naturally) we have plenty of WHMs, but only one RDM (and the gimpest RDM of all the RDMs I know) has shown up. VOLUNTEERING to change to RDM and doing so. Getting back up to Kirin where they STILL haven't started. Three more RDMs show up (late) and get preference to be in the Kirin fight.

So not only did I waste my time changing jobs at all (and my gil for a tele) but I didn't even get any sort of recognition for going out of my way to make sure the LS had what we needed, and LATECOMERS got preference.

I really hate people sometimes.

Though, lately, sky has been a pretty big peeve of mine just by itself.

I used to have a tolerance for people in this game, but it's really getting lower and lower each day that passes.

And oh yeah. Sky puts all of us in a bad mood, I'm sure.

Continuing on the begging theme...

People who constantly make mention of how poor they are, or how crappy their gear is, but never do anything to make themselves better. These are people that I've tried to help, given advice, even lent a small amount of gil (5-10k) but nothing ever changes. Oh no, they'd rather continue to complain about their gimpiness and bemoan the fact in LS chat that they don't have the gil to buy Regen from the NPC merchant, let alone the AH. Seriously: Moghouse > change job > random lvl 1-10 job > farm crystals > buy Regen.

And please, please, please! don't exp on any more jobs until you at least have decent gear and food for your role. And your full-time Signal Pearl and/or Empress Band is not 'decent gear' for exp.

You'd be surprised how many level 75 jobs some people have, but have neither the gear nor the skill to play them efficiently.

And that brings another pet peeve. People who have twenty million 75 jobs and think that what they say is always right, and that everyone else says is wrong.

I can get a ton of 75 jobs too... I can also gimp myself to get there and only level when I play FFXI. x.x

I can relate unfortunately. My issue is that I'm too damn soft. They know I'll come on whatever job is needed so I rarely play the job I love. They also know that I'll change if some yahoo logs on late for an event and wants to come on the job that I'm on. Once I went and changed 6 damn times for an event as people logged on late. ><

When a dd stays afk for 10 after a 5 min break, totalling 15 mins, then you give them a 5 min warning, then extend it for 5 more, totalling 25 mins of waiting while the pty continues as 5. Then getes pissed when you rep them. 5 mins after the last 5 min you gave them. Sorry, but i'm not gonna wait, after 25+ mins just cause your a dd. Don't act surpised either. And I'd expect the same treatment by any other party leaders to do the same thing to me in reversed roles.

People who invite you to a party and after you've gotten ready, the leader either says "Sorry. We have someone else now." or "Sorry. The party doesn't want you."

To agree with Aksannyi, I get really pissed when people are late for Kirin. If you were out and weren't on that's fine. However when the Lsmes says Kirin is @ 6pst/9 est be there. Leave at 8 ffs You will probably have to battle the Kirin porter awhile, often more than 30 minutes if you don't have escape. Also, if you don't have silent oils/food/random other meds you need, stop fucking meriting and farm them. If you're too poor for silent oils, you're too poor to xp-gtfo and make some gil for a few hours.

Does anyone on ps2 have their ps2 freeze when talking to npcs like Uhgrid and Ashrad? A ls mate says this happens to him too, and it's really annoying when a pt is waiting for you and you get sanction and suddenly have to relog.

Yes, a few people in my assault static have this problem, and they're on PS2. They said it is a glitch with the PS2 but they haven't fixed it yet. It's very annoying, I agree.
