It's starting to remind me of that period a few months back where we had massive maintenances every other few days or so, and all that hoopla about attacks and whatnot. I do hope that's not the case. Well, I doubt they are just having maintenance for the fun of it. And really, no offense to our European friends (who I often find myself playing with because my schedule is weird), they likely schedule maintenance times to coincide with the lowest traffic times. That means during that weird time after JP Prime time, and before NA prime time that just happens to be EU prime time. It's nothing personal, and yeah, it would be nice if they would rotate their schedule some, but they never have before, so I've just gotten used to it.
It could be worse. We could have maintenance every morning like some MMOs, or once a week (which Blizzard still can't get right) like WoW.

I'd gotten the impression that they used to schedule most maintenances during NA prime time, and had only started moving away from that a year or so ago. Not that I ever kept track of it myself, that's just how it seemed from the flood of whining elseforum that accompanied every millisecond of downtime.
Also, I imagine these are more in the "OMFG!" variety where the schedule is based more on "as soon as you frickin' can, Jones, or it's your ass!" than which players are awake.Ellipses on Fenrir

Yup us europeans getting the raw deal (as usual) just because there is less of us SE think they will get less complaints. Considering us brits pay the equiviland of $2 more than the US and japanese players a month due to our countrys VAT!!! so we pay more for it and get p****d on from above all the time. One of these days SE will learn that customer service is for everyone not just the US and Japan. Have you ever tried contacting SE Uk for problems, always in a que and they can never help you and tell you to contact a GM who should know more, thats great providing you could get into the game int eh first place. don't get me wrong I love the game (when its working) but we always seem to get the raw deal here.What are you guys talking about? ummm i've been playing for about a year and a half.. and in that time i can remember maybe one or two maints that were outside of the hours 5-11 pm UK time. Thats EU prime time not US prime time. The ones outside of that time were generally short ones in emergencies to tide the game over until they could set up a proper 2hr one back in UK primetime. Unless you are talking about before a year and a half ago i don't know what you are talking about. I'm a tad annoyed at two days in a row, but I'd sooner have no play experience for two evenings than log on twice and find the game isn't working properly. And yeah, I agree this is probably the best time. I used to play much more during JP and NA prime-times (yay unemployment!), but now I can only really play from 7pm - 11pm gmt (boo employment), and I've noticed the game being, on average, less busy than at other times.Comment
