Ive got 4 copies of the game and I only play on the PC, they hump you every chance they get Sometimes its my fault tho xD

Jp ver, Na ver, 2 Eu versions. Quit Jp at Na release cause I wanted english and didnt want to buy future expansions in both Jp and Na cause you have to register the codes on the Jp version and I wanted to play in english. Quit Na version for 3months because of exams but accidentaly removed myself from POL rather than just FFXI so account got deleted. Gave away my Eu account about 2months ago to a mate who gave it to someone else and altho they are on the Na Client and can't change the password Im not going to be a complete asshole take the account back over £10 which is all a new game costs now so its coming today and the posts just here woop.

Wow that mostly is your fault XD but i just want the software not the account O.o i mean i'll get the acct from 360 so cant i just dwonload it somewhere?

Yea but I imagine it would have to be from a Peer2Peer program and they are most certainly illegal, unless you know someone with the PC version who would let you borrow the disks.

penny pinching bastards XD .... well i'll see what i can do but for now 360 ver it is! well with the 360 version can i just use those codes using the signup ont he comp? Im more likely gonna get the program somehow before i get it on the 360. so can i just signup using the 360 codes on a comp?

Don't think so. I can't enter codes from a Jp copy on a Na copy of the game so I really wouldnt think you could. If you get it on PC first you can always try.

what I did was this, I bought both PC and PS2 versions, and gave all my PS2 codes to a friend who also plays on PC, and made him copies of my disks, then he just had to pay the 13 a month :p (I only play on my PS2 if my PC is doing something important or if I am out of town)

The best way to handle this is by finding someone who has the same language PC version of the game as the one you are buying for 360 (either CD or collection DVD +ToAU) have him/her burn em all and send them to you.

The tough part is finding someone from your country (since delivery is cheaper that way and you don't have to deal with imports) who would do that for you.

I say burn em because finding a safe place where you could DL the CDs without risking aditional and non requested programs seems unlikely.

Did you give him the PS2 version codes to enter on his PS2 or was he able to create an account on his PC with the PS2 codes?

IF he could use his PS2 codes on a comp that would totally rocki know downloading would give me unrequested programs but what if a i had a friend who has the program err disk burned onto the comp and i can dl off him err using alcohol 120% and that program they showed on attack of the show sounds like an ok idea

yes the codes for FFXI are only regin specific not system, you can use a PS2 code for 360 or PC, or a PC code for 360 or PS2

Is there any difference in the Japanese FFXI for 360? i mean like i got DOA4 with japanese writings all over the title but it was in English.. Same with oblivion but i didnt buy it a friend did. Can i use the FFXI with japanese writings for Title/ but maybe english writings in the back? Could i mix the two? Possibly japanese game, 360 and possibly English game Comp

While publishers technically can release region-free 360 games, I highly doubt that SE did so. If you have a japanese 360, you'll probably need to buy a japanese copy of the game that will be based in the japanese language.

It's important to note that DOA is a fighter, being in japanese is not really that big of a deal... ffxi... big deal.

yea i know but uhm... Isnt there a language selection? Err i mean i got DOA4 in japanese box sihpped from japan but it plays in English so is there a way to change the language? heres a pic of the Japanese 360 game... Hmm lets say i got english Game for comp and japanese game for 360... Could i use the japanese code on my english computer and play on both english and japanese game?

Uhm it says Japanese/NTSC so that means i can use it right? Japanese games usually just say japan, and european ones say pal, and NA ones say NTSC, but this says NTSC Japan so can i use it?

Apparently my 360 can play NTSC and NTSC/J (NTSC was GRAW and NTSC/J was DOA4) But now my main concern is can i play this japanese FFXI account with an english game on my comp with same acct? Or at least One account created on both... (could i use the new american version of the game on my 360? it can play NTSC games)
