I was like that one time I overbid for something I was trying to sell... (yeah I know...) 200k plus sale tax down the drain (yipee!), best advice take a shower, lots of coffee, carefully read the description and check what buttons you are pressing because little tiny details (like pressing buy while checking the price instead of sell... ) can escape you.

ouch... i saw that once on cocktrice meat. someone bought singles for 18k each instead of the stack. he filled up the whole history with it. then about 5 min later when i was showing a friend what that person did, he had put back up his cocktrice meat and bought it back himself for 1gil to get rid of the evidence. :p

Someone in my LS last night put an Onion Dagger up for auction before he took a few months break. Last night when he came back, he said that someone bought it for 99k. And it was already off the history so he had no way of returning the gil.

I once bid 1.2 mil for a 120k item. When I contacted the guy, he translated to me that he was sorry, but he'd already spent the money. I looked the guy up, saw he was a low 60's thf and saw in the AH history he spent the money on some nice daggers. The money loss didn't hurt me that bad and I was at least glad it went to someone who actually needed the money.
