Should be able to, Keyboard and Mouse would take up both the USB slots. If you want another USB device connected you'd have to expand the USB Slot by chaning a USB Hub to it. The controller would go into the 1st player of the two controller slots, so using all 3 is possible.

You'll likely use the controller more than anything, and the keyboard just for typing. But hey! Maybe you'll like the keyboard more. Only time will tell.

I know you can use it on PC as well, but that controller that TGM loves really seems perfect for PS2 users. I'd give it a try if you can spare the money.
Been playing FFXI on PS2 and PC since the release for each platform, still use keyboard on both mainly. Mouse isn't that hard to get for the PS2 just about any standard USB Mouse will work. Also for added info between platforms the Keyboard on PS2 works better in lagged area then a Keyboard on PC. Seems the PS2 puts priority to the USB slots, so lag will not cause a command to be missed just delay it a little.

If you have three arms, or a very dextrous foot, yes.

There is no rush. If you're not willing to take your time, don't be surprised when no one wants to give you much of theirs.

I've never encountered keyboard lag on the PC. I guess I'm lucky.

I guess I just can't imagine how you'd use a mouse connected to your console. I mean, if I was playing on a console, I'd be hanging out on my couch or on the floor, not at any kind of flat surface that would be handy for a mouse. But a I guess a tray table or a coffee table would suffice. I guess I hadn't thought about it.

Yeah, my lazyboy is rigged up like that. Kick up the foot rest lean back a little and a table I sized to rest my arm nicely is placed up against it. No problems for me with using a mouse with it if I wanted.

Only time I had that happen was attributed to my own actions. I hit a key thinking it didn't take but lag only delayed it so I end up hitting key again and latter end up with multiples like you stated. Like I stated the PS2 with the Keyboard doesn't miss a command it's only delayed, takes a little getting use to to realizing it didn't miss your keystroke it's only delayed.

That would make me crazy. I'm a fast typist, so any kind of lag like that would make everything come out looking stupid.

As long as you are certain of your keystrokes then that duplicate effect won't happen.

Well, I definiately am. I'm just so used to things appearing as soon as I type them that a system like that could really make me crazy.

                    But who knows!

Did to me at first but got to use to it in a couple of days. Not that bad really, but as for Keyboard lag on PC I've done a few Besiege were the keyboard is basically deadlocked. My character ends up missing range attack commands for whole minutes or more. On the PS2 that never happened.

I get what you're saying, but that's not it. It's happened to me without my typing a letter multiple times or holding in on the key or anything. In really high lag situations it will sometimes skip spaces and repeat letters seemingly at random. I've always chalked it up to having a really cheap keyboard on the PS2, but I haven't tested it with a decent keyboard to see if that's the cause.

Hmm, maybe then. My keyboard isn't a cheap one and only time it's missed a space or doubled a character was if I did it. Those cheesy sharkboards are horrible though, 2 of them had an "N" that always stuck on me and 1 had a "D", "P", and "U" that wouldn't work. Very bad keyboards...
