A Crafting Question

I was leveling my carpenter crafting skill today and had moved up three levels when somthing strang hapend. I was at the AH trying to buy some lumber but when I tride to bid on the Lauan lumber it turned gray and I got this messeg you can't make that transaction. Same thing with trying to buy it at the guild. Is this a glich or have I done something wrong?

May not be any left to bid on. The number for sale on the AH won't change for a few ticks, and you have to go back out of the menu, then go back in for it to reload with the appropriate number. At the guilds, they run out and the name becomes grayed out. Not sure of the exact number they have per day, but after enough purchases they run out and you'll have to wait until 6am the next vanadiel day to buy more.
