Afraid not, conquest for old areas, sanction only for new areas :D

Oddly enough, however, Sanction DOES count as having Signet active for purposes of activating latent effect conquest gear like Republic Gold Medal or Master Caster's Bracelets. This still won't activate conquest gear in ToAU (they don't work at all in any circumstances in the new ToAU zones), but it will let you use them in non-ToAU zones without the real deal Signet active, despite the fact that you aren't earning conquest points.

Thats quite odd, it will probably be fixed eventually.

Hehe, I never knew you needed a signet to activate conquest gear. I guess I have it on 90% of the time so I never noticed that minor detail.

I wash you could earn IS in non ToAU areas... what SE should do is make it that Sanction/Signet automatically wears off or suspends untill you get back when entering ToAU/Conquesat areas...

Actually, the reason why (and I'm not sure, but i'm just pulling this out of thin air) SE won't have it so Signet or Sanction get suspended is because they're coercing us into doing conquest by going to a guard each time to switch between the two, or else we start losing IS/CP when we kill an exp mob with Sanction on in the regular areas or Signet on in the ToAU areas.
