Probably the better word is "relevant", not constructive. Taking the quiz in itself is relevant to the OP, and perhaps explaining why you choose those answers adds more depth to your answer, thus making it more constructive.

War/mnk w/ Gaxe is the best tank at that lvl, no if ands or buts >.<

For DD War/Rng for the acc bonus or War/Drk-Drg for the Att bonus are the best for DD

War/blu wouldn't work too well as your MP pool would be crap. Yeah Cocoon and Metal Body are nice and all but you'd run out of MP every other fight if not faster unless you spammed juices.

...sorry, I'm an elitist when it comes to war ._.

The reasoning for this is because high leveled players do not always equal more experienced, or better players. I find that web-boards are better sources of reliable information.

c) scream "ZONE!" and run away to let your pt die

A) Provoke to save the mages

The reasoning for this is simple, the Mages are more often than not the backbone of any viable experience group. If even one mage happens to die in the middle of a bad pull, we may find the group on the verge of wiping, and as a result, disbanding. It's better that you yourself die, so that the group can survive. You'll probably get more experience that way if you keep a level head.

3) You have a subjob. Is it:

a) at least leveled to half of my main, if not more
b) close to half my main due to a good leveling pt
c) closer to zero than half your main

B) Close to half my main job, due to a good leveling PT.

Deal with it. If you're not willing to give me a chance to excell in the group, based on a few numbers, then you're not the type of person I'm willing to group with anyways.

a) choose a time tested combo to ensure your effectiveness
b) choose a less used, but still viable subjob
c) sub WAR for mages and sub BRD for melee

I'm not going to go WHM/BLM just because somebody wants one or two spells that go along with the sub-job. If I enjoy fast-casting, then I'm going /RDM. I refuse to conform to the supposed, "Kid-tested, Mother-approved" ways of thinking, I prefer to be my own person.

If I'm a tank, the HP is more important than accuracy, since all I'd be is a provoke bot.

If I'm a Damage Dealer, I damn well better be able to hit the mob. Not to mention the free dexterity allows me more leeway to use +Strength equipment.

a) Spell and use punctuation correctly
b) use standard abbreviations to save time
c) never actually use any words or punctuation (OMGWTFBBQ)

D) Use the English language the way it was meant to be used.

I'm a stickler for grammar, punctuation, capitalization and spelling. I'd like to nominate myself, Grammar Nazi of the Year.

Sometimes you have to take the hit. Sometimes you have to zone. Sometimes you have to pull it to your group to kill the damn thing, pretending it was just an extra link.

If you answered C to one or more of these questions, you may be suffering from n00bism. This is not a death sentence. Here are several useful treatments:

1) research forums and guides to learn the nuances of this game
2) take your time and learn through experience
3) log out of FFXI, turn off your computer, burn it, build a machine that burns ashes, burn the ashes, then burn the machine.

Remember people. Only by working together can we stem to growth of n00bism. Have your n00bs spayed or neutered.
