Remember, there is nothing wrong with being a new player. N00bism is a disease that afflicts many players of all levels and debilitates them to the point that they are dangerous to society.
By answering this simple self-diagnosis quiz, you can find out if you too may be suffering from n00bism.
1) You meet a player of a significantly higher level. Do you:
a) accept advice and help with humility and good humor?
b) say thank you, but refuse any help
c) scream "OMG! U n33dz giv m3 gilz!"
2) You are a back up tank and the main tank loses hate. Do you:
a) voke to save the mages
b) voke so the party can run
c) scream "ZONE!" and run away to let your pt die
3) You have a subjob. Is it:
a) at least leveled to half of my main, if not more
b) close to half my main due to a good leveling pt
c) closer to zero than half your main
4) It is time to choose a subjob for your main job. Do you:
a) choose a time tested combo to ensure your effectiveness
b) choose a less used, but still viable subjob
c) sub WAR for mages and sub BRD for melee
5) It is time for a difficult quest/mission. Do you:
a) attempt it yourself for the challenge
b) find a group at your level to help each other
c) scream in Jeuno for hours for a level 99 to do it for you
